My main complaint preventing 5 star rating is not the Airpods themselves, but the iOS features that automatically turn down the volume when there is external sound (surrounding conversation, background noise, even singing to the music).

I purchased the airpods pro a couple of years ago. They started switching from noise cancelling to something else.

Best AirPods Yet

The noise cancellation is superb. I used to be able to still hear the air purifier somewhat with the AirPods Pro 1. These drown it out completely. Definitely a good product.
