The noise cancellation completely blocks out any other sound. I use them when I use my Dyson Air Wrap (which I bought at BestBuy too!) and I can't even hear the noise of the hair dryer. They block out all sounds on a flight and they stay in your ear perfectly. They are a great purchase or gift!

I chose them for their ability to act as hearing aids, and they do the job. If you have a problem hearing in a noisy restaurant, these will help!
