Overall sound quality is better than AirPods 2. Only issue I’ve had is when sweating outside, I’ve had one fall out of ear which is a non issue for the beats fit pro. Perhaps I’ll get an ear wing add on. But overall these things work great. I look forward to the late 2023 improvements specifically the adaptive pass through mode and learning our use to know when speaking to somebody nearby.

Sound better than Airpods Max

First sound product (multiple buds and a variety of wireless headphones) that I don’t eq. I usually have to eq out vocal sibilance and boost the bass, but I don’t use eq with these. Also survived a bucket of soapy water that I dropped one into. Only complaint is I tred all tips and they still fall out (walking ok, running not - YMMV)
