ANC is better and sound is slightly improved. I'd suggest to not upgrade from 1st gen but they're a solid buy if these are your first AirPods Pro

I’ve been told I sound very far away or muffled and Siri has a hard time hearing when attempting to use the “hey siri” command. The sound quality is great and so is the noise cancellation feature.
