The latest generation, in my opinion, fits a little better. The sound is better than the 1st generation's, however, if one is expecting a "wow" sound effect he/she may want to buy a different brand.

Commuting is much easier because I can control 90% of my phone through these. I have minor hearing loss and the passive noise cancelling makes it easier to talk and hear in stores. Finally, the conversation awareness is super useful, I just wish it was easier to turn on and off.
