Great replacement for 1st gen. Well worth it. Battery + Sound + Price + = you win

I would only recommend buying these if you have older AirPods, and/or if you need a good pair of wireless headphones that effortlessly connect to your Apple devices…. or if you happened to lose your first pair (like myself). However, these now have Apple’s Find My support, and a speaker on the outside that can chime, to help you locate them. Overall, these are the best of the best.

The rubber ear piece makes all the difference for me! I gave really small ears and the originals hurt my ears if I wore them too long. The noise cancellation also works wonders to block out any unwanted noise, whether your listening to music, in a meeting, or just want silence. I'm not kidding, they're better than any earplugs I've I've ever tried!

Best Apple accessory I’ve used to date. I tune pianos for a living which can expose me to dangerous sound levels. Using these keeps the sound at a safe level without significantly affecting frequency response like ear plugs would.

I use this airpods Pro 2nd generation as hearing aids. I have moderate hearing losses in both ears. These airpods can function as hearing aids with the Apple's dabble at the hearing aids technology. And it kinda works with some caveat at the fractional price. You have to set the all the parameters right to make it work. There are many articles and video tutorials abut this. There are two most annoying aspects in using these pods for hearing aids are the battery lasts only 4 hours and the echo (occlusion effects). Sound quality and the noise cancellation is good. If you're looking for the hearing aids, try this airpods pro 2nd generation.
