I love my AirPods. The amount of times that I’ve used findmy in order to locate my empty case is unreal lol sound quality is good as always. There was one slight issue, where it seemed like the Bluetooth would randomly disconnect and clock out on me, but I guess kind of fixed itself because it hasn’t happened in a while.

Apple Airpods pro have an amazing reputation and sound incredible.

Compared to the 1st generation Pro, the Pro 2 sound great. Hopefully, Apple does not release an update in the future that causes issues with quality and appear to cause obsolescence of their products as what seemed to happen with Gen 1 and the Maxes. I use these in ambient tranparency mode often when knife-throwing. The missed throws tend to be quite loud when they clang. These AirPods filter out the harsh loudness very well. However, they can also limit the distance of your hearing ability overall. I found it harder to continue a conversation when someone is about 4 yards away. What you normally could hear easily as someone is talking while walking away becomes a bit quieter sooner. Noise cancelling is pretty good. I don't have anything to compare it to. I can only say that on an airplane flight, it cut out the noise very well. Not 100% silent. In fact, I wondered if they really were working. Once I took them off, I realized exactly how loud it was in the air cabin. Yup. They work, and my ears just got acclimated to the silence that it became a bit more sensitive for volume. One thing I do like about using these: They make recording videos much easier. If using an iPhone, you'll need a 3rd party video recorder that allows bluetooth microphone recording. ---- I switched out the earbud tips for one made of foam covered with silicone to mainly have the buds stay in place more. They stayed in place well with just the regular silicone tips but would cause this jarring bouncing sound when I run, as if they don't fit properly in my ears, regardless of size tips. The only thing I wished for was that when this went on sale for $229, it went on a deeper sale a week later for $200 but Best Buy would not allow a price difference match.
