Not even durable enough in an office enviroment.

The iPod Pro initially impressed me with its features, providing a satisfactory experience for approximately a year and a half. However, there were some notable drawbacks that affected the overall quality and my satisfaction. One of the key aspects of any audio device is its sound quality. Unfortunately, the iPod Pro falls short in this area. While the sound quality is acceptable, it is not exceptional. Many users rated it around 7 out of 10, indicating that it does the job but lacks the depth and richness that would make it truly stand out. A significant issue that has emerged over time is the occurrence of crackling sounds in both the left and right earbuds. This problem is particularly frustrating as it disrupts the listening experience and can be quite distracting. It's worth noting that the iPods were used primarily in an office environment, where they were placed on desks rather than exposed to rigorous physical activities. Therefore, the crackling sounds cannot be attributed to rough handling or misuse. This indicates a potential quality issue with the product itself. The fact that these problems have arisen within a relatively short time frame of one and a half years is concerning. For a device at this price point, users rightly expect a certain level of durability and longevity. However, the iPod Pro seems to have fallen short in this regard, causing disappointment among users who expected a more reliable product. Furthermore, considering that the iPods were primarily used in an office environment where they were not subjected to excessive wear and tear, it is reasonable to expect better overall quality. The fact that they experienced issues even under such relatively gentle conditions raises questions about the overall build and durability of the product. In conclusion, while the iPod Pro offers an adequate audio experience, it fails to deliver exceptional sound quality. Additionally, the occurrence of crackling sounds in both earbuds within a relatively short time frame is a major drawback, especially considering the device's usage in an office environment. The iPod Pro falls short in terms of durability and overall quality, making it difficult to recommend as a reliable and long-lasting audio device. Potential buyers should consider alternative options that offer better build quality and a more satisfying audio experience.

Jack Of All Trades, Master Of None

First off, I highly recommend you go read 'JaCe' 3 star review on this site. He clearly has a history with many truly wireless headphones and wrote a great review on the AirPods Pro. As for personal experience, I feel the APP do a little bit of everything but nothing great. They noise cancel, but not as well as over the ear headphones with ANC. They sound good, but not as good as the Powerbeats Pro and perhaps other truly wireless alternatives. They also still lack volume controls which is pretty maddening in such an expensive set of headphones. Do I still recommend them? Absolutely. The portable carrying case, the good (but not great sound), ANC and Transparency, wireless charging. These are still a worthy option for sure. I do think they are overpriced though for their sound quality. The proper price is $200 retail. Regardless these have and will sell like hotcakes. If you want proper sound, I highly recommend the Powerbeats Pro. They sound so much better and have actual volume controls on each bud plus 9 hours of battery life on a single charge. But if you want something compact to carry around that does a lot, the APP are a great choice for you.

    Apple Nearly Nailed It!!!

First and foremost, these are an excellent product overall. I believe these are close to perfection. They offer good overall sound, crystal clear calls, ANC works well, and transparency mode works well too. I would like to see support for volume control via the stem in opposed to Siri or manually doing it through other means (Apple Watch/iPhone). I’m a bit of a audiophile so other that aren’t can take the following lightly. I would like more accurate sound reproduction for the price. Since this is a consumer grade device it is more than enough to meet the needs of most. For convenience, you will not regret purchasing them if you are already invested into the Apple ecosystem.

I never would have purchased the Pros without the $100 gift card I received, but boy am I glad I did. These are phenomenal, literally blown away. In fact I am listening to them now as I write this. THey sound great and the instant connectivity with my IPhone is also amazing. I would highly recommend, and if I had the money would buy these for a family member or friend. The best purchase I’ve ever made. Highly Recommended.

    Better & Worse. Read Below

The sound quality on the AirPods pro is much more clearer than the other AirPods. The fit is also much better. However, I removed one star because the bass is significantly reduced. The previous models have much more bass but the pros have a much clearer sound and better noise cancellation. I wanted to remove another star because the sound cancellation feature and pressure touch buttons can be very glitchy. However this is a fixable issue. The only reason I decided to keep the pros instead of the older AirPods is because they fit better. When I’m running and my ears get sweaty and oily the pros don’t start to slide out like the other AirPods did. I do miss the extra bass though.

After a few days I'm really loving these. They sound amazing and the noise cancellation is phenomenal. It's like magic! I have one issue. There's a low rumble when I walk around and the buds are set to transparency mode. It seems to amplify the air rushing around the microphone and it creates some low frequency. I don't like that. I'd imagine running makes it worse. The rubber tips keep it in the ear much better than the original AirPods.

I Guess That's Why They Call Them "AirPods"

I seem to be the sad minority. I tried the AirPods Pro on in the Apple store and was amazed by the effectiveness of the ANC. The room went silent in seconds. I then switched modes to passthrough and was equally astonished to find that I could hear, not only everyone around me, but my music as well. It was like magic. Two days later, I made my purchase. After extensive research, I had discovered that the $250 price tag might actually be warranted. They are some of the only in-ear headphones on the market that have ANC (these and a pair of Sony "true" wireless earbuds). I love Apple, so I figured, "Why not!" I picked them up right when the store opened, barely containing my excitement. I was a child again. They connected to my phone--again, as if by magic! I popped them in my ears and was... Disappointed. First comes the realization that my $250 headphones sound tinny. In fact, the "small speaker" equalizer actually makes them sound marginally better. Then comes the pressure. Like being 50,000 feet up in an airplane. "I guess that's why they call them the AirPods," I think. For some reason, I hadn't noticed it in the Apple store, but I notice it now. Like two toilet bowl plungers are pressing against the sides of my head. Then comes the sinus headache. Slowly but surely it creeps up on me, like a mischievous grandma in a Halloween mask. I think, "Maybe it's the weather," but now I take off the AirPods, and away goes both the pressure and the headache. Bummer, dude. So, in summary. These have some nifty features. The stem-pinch is kitschy and a bit rad. Apple successfully tricks your brain into thinking you're pressing an analog switch, when there's actually no give in the stem. The fact that they don't dangle out of your ears like regular ol' AirPods is also neat (though they never felt truly comfortable in mine). The fact that the nibs are proprietary is annoying, but no deal-breaker. The tinny sound... that's where things start to break down. But I still might have kept them. I might be listening to Muse out of them right now, instead of my two-year-old $20 wired Panasonic headphones, and I might be writing a five-star review, if not for two things. The pressure and the headache.

These AirPods are insane, the noise cancelling feature works way better than I would have ever thought, and the silicone tips fit so well that you cant even feel the AirPods in your ear, its like you put sound directly in your ear and thats it.
