The AirPod pros are amazing technologically. The ANC and transparency mode is superior to anything else. However, there are a significant number of people out there who experience an allergic reaction to these. Check out the Apple forum and see tons of people experiencing the exact same symptoms - itching, clear drainage from ears, ear infections, crusty ear canals. The similarity of symptoms is uncanny. It took me almost a year to realize that it was my AirPod pros causing the problem. I never suspected them because I never had issues with other earbuds. Clearly some people are able to use them just fine. I wish I could because they are otherwise amazing earbuds. But be aware of these issues as it seems to be quite a few people with very similar symptoms

They work amazing and really cancel out noise when I am using them.

Bought these for my wife, whose 1st generation AirPods were losing battery longevity. She is very happy with the AirPods Pros and continues to use them on a daily basis. They cost more then the 1st generation, but once you factor out the wireless charging that is included in the Pro’s, the cost is negligible. I recommend these to anyone who ask about them. They just work every time.
