These sound great and I was amazed by the noise cancelling ability. My ears were sore for the first week or so from use until I got used to them. Now that I am though, there has been no soreness. They do occasionally drop out of my ear but usually I can feel when that is about to happen and can adjust before they do.

I only bought them to pair with my work cell for those long calls so I could do stuff around the house without having to hold a phone to my ear. They work really well. I’ve held off all these years because I wanted apple to offer them in black. I don’t use them for music or anything besides phone conferences.

Sound is better coming from regular airpods, however, the case is larger so I'm not sure if the trade off is worth it. Depends on what your main use will be: mine is for phone calls. I will say the noise cancellation is helpful in loud environments. However for the receiver there's a lot of noise it picks up.

The sound is so clear and the battery life is great.

I have used Airpods 1st and 2nd generation models and Airpod pro are much powerful compared to them in terms of comfort and music. Noise cancellation is good and gives a decent experience. When I used it with my laptop I didn't get the same noise-cancelling experience as I was getting with my iPhone. Overall a great product from Apple.

I have the Apple AirpodsPro and the Sony WF 1000 XM3. They are both top-notch quality products. For Apple iPhone and iPads the Apple AirPodsPro connect easier. The Sound quality of the Sony is slightly better (in my opinion.) The AirpodsPro are more comfortable to me. Last item is the charging case of the AirpodsPro is materially smaller.
