    Convenience and Very Good Sound

I was amazed how quickly my phone recognized and sync'd up with the Air Pods Pro. And that is every time I use them. They are very comfortable to wear and have very good sound quality, including decent bass without sounding artificial. The sound quality is miles ahead of other Apple offerings, and very close to my Klipsch wired in-ear headphones. The convenience tradeoff (no wires) is worth the difference. The features for use take a little getting used to, but work great. Haven't tried the noise cancelling, as I am not getting on a plane anytime soon. The charge on the headphones lasts a long time and the case holds a charge a long time as well. I am very happy with this purchase.

    Surprisingly better than Powerbeats Pro

I recent purchased the Powerbeats Pro a little over a week before the AirPods Pro were announced and as soon as I heard that they were released, I was interested to see how they sounded in comparison to the Powerbeats Pro. I was already on the fence with the beats because they would really dig in the back of my ear after and I would need to take them off after about an hour or so. I just received my AiPods Pro today and WOW and I surprised on the base quality, ANC, Transparency mode, and the fact that they would stay in my ears without falling out while doing a workout. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a small portable earbuds and it has the best quality phone call experience while on earbuds.

These are pretty decent sound quality, they fit easily in the ear with different tip size options and the transparency mode is useful. Noise canceling feature is great also and seems to work pretty well, I haven’t tested in a very loud environment yet though. I wish they were less expensive, but they’re still good.

The best earbuds I’ve ever had

These are pretty fantastic earbuds. First off, they are one of the few that will stay in my ears. It took some changing out of the ear pieces but I finally got them dialed in for my ears. Sound is excellent and even the bass is good for such small devices. Noise canceling is good and you can change it from noise canceling to “pass through” with the app or by the buttons on the earbuds. Pass through sort of amplifies the sound around you so it’s like you are not even wearing earbuds. You can turn both off as well to preserve battery life. Battery life in pass through mode would be my only con. They die pretty quick if you leave them in your ears in pass through mode.

I love these air pods. I use them for my everyday calls and music use. They don’t fall out and I use them a lot when I workout and when I go to work. At work I move around a lot and most of the time I move quickly and they manage to stay in my ear. The noise cancellation is amazing cause as my profession I drive big trucks for Coca-Cola and the outside noise can be loud from the truck but the AirPods make it perfect for me only hearing what’s coming through the AirPods. Also others on the other side of the phone can hear my perfectly and clearly. Also as a plus they stay charged for a long time. I can go as long as 2 weeks before having to recharge them.

I was skeptical of AirPods when they came out, having something just resting in your ears - but I came around. I really dig them. Very comfortable. They feel secure in your ears. The sound is excellent and immersive. Sound canceling works very well. They just easily pair and work with your other Apple devices. I even connect them to Apple TV when I am watching something so as to not disturb family members when they are working or learning. And it’s great not having a cord to get in the way and hurting your ears when they get tugged. They are expensive - but they’re worth it. Get you some.

The sound quality, lightness and fit options make these, hands down, worth the price. People think Apple is overpriced (hence, Apple tax). Not with these. From the start, putting these in and activating noise cancellation is surreal. All ambient noise goes away. With transparency mode, you hear the outside world as if nothing is in your ear. There isn’t any uncomfortable pressure put on the eardrum. Having a vocalist in the house who said these are just as good as $1,200+ custom fit in ear monitor is saying a lot. Also, recipients of calls are astounded by the clarity of conversation. It’s truly amazing how much tech is packed into such a small, wireless device.

I purchased these to replace my Bose noise cancelling over-the-ear headphone that were purchased a number of years ago. Pros: Lightweight, comfortable, excellent size (versus Bose) so will be excellent for travel, great for use for listening to audio and hands-free phone in the car, seem to hold a charge for a long period of time, very easy to load on iphone and operate bluetooth. Cons: Noise cancellation not as good as Bose, can fall out of ear if very active (tried various ear plugs, which improved the situation) Other advice: Be careful where you wear them (near water, toilet, sink). Not sure whether Apple Care is worth it since don't cover replacement for lost ear bud.

Worth the extra money for iPhone/iPad

For the size, these are amazing. Noise cancellation works very well and transparency mode is nice in certain conditions. But the best feature to me is spatial audio. It is a massive upgrade when listening to movies/TV that have multi-channel audio you get a definite immersive "feel" to the sound. Its not comparable to a decent true surround sound system, but you can instantly tell the difference and it does enhance the experience. Battery life is exactly what you expect, as is comfort and usability. For people in the Apple ecosphere (especially with iPhone and/or iPad), these are the portable wireless earphones for you.

Excellent sound quality for phone calls and video conferencing. Music quality is a large step up from the original AirPods. These are audiophile quality, but they are great for daily use for calls, music, movies, podcasts, you name it. The sound canceling is what you’d expect, but the transparency mode is where these shine. I was blown away by how well the sound “passes” through. It’s definitely a feature I didn’t know I couldn’t live without. Very easy to connect and change settings. I do miss the double tap for Siri, and I wish I could have one AirPod both activate Siri and change modes, but I’ll adapt. As for the price, I knew I was buying an Apple product.

Prior reviews said these fit in ears better than others, etc. True. Fits very good. Doesn't fall out (a problem I've had with Bose and others and the reason I usually have bought "over the ear". Everyone says they can hear me clearly (even say it's good when I'm wearing a mask) and I can hear really good. I have trouble hearing in left ear so it's good that I can just use right side only or both. I also like that as soon as I close the lid on the case - it comes on. I do think they are overpriced and that price should come down. Best Buy was lowest price when I bought these and I always get their warranty (this has saved me many $$$).

I was in the market for some good quality ear buds a few weeks ago. I was sort of stuck with either purchasing the Beats wireless buds or the AirPods Pro. I am so glad I picked the AirPods. Having an iPhone the connectivity is seamless. Like most other Apple products these AirPods just work. I use them for the gym or walks outside with my dog and the fit and feel is awesome. The noise cancellation function is great, really seems to block out the external noise. Its great to use when I am listening to a ball game or streaming music. Would highly recommend anyone looking for a quality set of wireless ear buds to buy the AirPods.

I bought these for father's day for my husband. TBH anytime we are at home you'll catch me with them on. Definitely buying me ASAP. I love the noise cancellation option and transparency works great too. Battery life is actually pretty good. I used them for morning meetings approx. 4 hrs then charged them while I was eating then used them again for another 3 hrs of meetings. IMPRESSED! Only complaint is that it does sometimes feel like they're about to fall out. My husband has the medium tip so I'll probably use the small tip for mine. PRICE MATCH! Walmart and other places have them for 234.00. I bought from BB to get reward points on my BB CC.

I use Android, these are still the best

I'm an Android user. I still consider these the best. I've owned . . . at least 7 pairs of true wireless earbuds, so I would consider myself something of an expert! With a few tweaks, they work perfectly on Android. It helps to have a compatible iPhone/iPad available, or a friend with one, but really only for changing 1 setting (whether holding the button enables transparency). Once you change that, you never NEED to reconnect (firmware updates I suppose). Otherwise, everything else can be done through the free app (in app purchases available for additional features) Assistant Trigger. It can even detect when you remove and re-insert the airpods for automatic pause/resume!! Pretty amazing. Oh, and you can use either bud by itself. The sound quality is really excellent on these. Yes, it's not as good as wired headphones. Yes, it's not as good over the ear "cans". Also, shut up. Nobody cares. We don't have to deal with wires, and that's way more important to people looking at these. A lot of people will say they notice a difference, but it's just placebo effect. Prove me wrong. If you're a professional music producer/audio engineer/a couple other related careers, yeah you'll be able to tell a difference. Otherwise, you won't actually notice, only think you do. The ANC on these is surprisingly great! I have a pair of Bose QC35II headphones. Without question, the Bose are better at noise cancelling. Nobody should be surprised by this. Even the biggest Apple fanboy knows you don't beat Bose. Unless you're Sony maybe. If I'm getting on an 18 hour flight to Asia I reach for my Bose. Drown out the plane noise and those d@mn crying kids and enter a world where you can't hear anything. But does that mean the Apple ANC is bad? Not at all! I'd call it City ANC. You can still hear some stuff, it's just more like . . . it's far away. Like off in the distance. There, but doesn't bother you, which I'd prefer for, say, walking around a city. Basically, my Boses are relegated to my airplane drawer. These are my day-to-days. And that's not even starting to talk about the single best feature, still a rarity for true wireless earbuds: Transparency mode. This feature is the primary reason I bought these! I've seen only a few other earbuds with transparency, and owned one other one. These do it SO much better than that pair. It's nice because you can hear what people are saying, and choose to ignore them. But they just think you can't hear them, so less rude! Side note: Before I continue, understand that I have weirdly shaped ears, so most in-ear earbuds don't sit right for me. Just something I've learned to live with, and nobody else I know has the same issues. When I'm running/exercising I need to use memory foam replacement tips to keep these from falling out. Again, weird shaped ears. I have no problems using the included ones for walking around, on phone calls, etc. So that's the one weird fit issue. I'd like to try out the new Galaxy Buds+ to do a real comparison. I know they have a version of transparency, and are $100 less. And I have a Samsung Phone. But I also have a Macbook for work (and work calls) (#vomit), an iPad Mini (#amazing), and nephews who like to Facetime me on it, so I decided I could justify the extra money. Still, want to do a comparison.

I bought these for my wife. Knowing they were Apple I expected them to be easy to use but they are even easier to sync and use than I expected. The sound is very good for an average musical ear and the fit in the ear is better than her previous set of ear buds. She loves them and I would recommend them. The one caveat I have is the charging case pops open very easily; I dropped them on the bed and it opened with the ear buds falling out. I would strongly recommend buying a case for the charger; Best Buy had several and the one we bought was sufficient for solving the problem.

I bought these for my wife, who recently went back to college, so she could listen to lectures without interruption. The active noise cancellation feature is great so she can focus on what she's doing. She has small ears and hard ear buds are uncomfortable for her, so I went with the pros. There are 3 different size silicone tips, and the smallest ones fit her well. It's nice to have options! The sound quality is great, and the ease of use is on par with all Apple products. I don't feel the need to replace my regular AirPods with the pro version, but the pro version definitely met my wife's needs and I would highly recommend.

    AirPods Pro

The AirPods Pro are by far the best wireless headphones you can buy on the market, however not for sound quality necessarily, its more about the convenience and feature set which truly give the AirPods Pro its value. It has noise cancelling and transparency mode which both work very effiencetly, the noise canceling is very good, when traveling it eliminates most noise, however I can still hear people talking slightly but low end such as turbulence is cancelled out completely. Transparency mode works perfectly and I can hear everything around me perfectly as if I am not even wearing them, I would use this mode when shopping or outside when I want to listen to listen to music but still be aware of my environment. In terms of sound quality, I personally find them really flat, this is just something consistent within the Apple ecosystem of audio, people say the sound is so clear and balanced, but realistically what that translates to is its really flat so the bass isn't weak, but its not powerful, and the mid and high end are clear, but not overpowering. I wish there was an EQ built-in for the AirPods Pro themselves, instead of tweaking through the settings within a music service. Also, they are a lot more quiet than headphones its price, but due to the headphones driver size that is expected. Honestly, if you really want noise-cancelling and transparency mode and that's a dealbreaker, then go for the AirPods Pro, however if you just want good wireless headphones that have Apple's W1 chi[ and don't care about the other stuff, then go for the regular AirPods, not the Pro's. I have both, and I tested them excessively and in my findings I realized the fact that the regular AirPods have an open-ear design, which basically lets sound expand and gives overall more depth to the bass and overall dynamic of the sound, whereas the AirPods Pro have a closed ear design of course due to the fact they need to be noise cancelling, overall giving the regular AirPods the better sound, and making the AirPods Pro seem really congested and flat. Also the tips on these get super wet, which seems really weird, but the thing is moisture gets trapped within these and so that makes the tips loose, so you have to push them back in a lot compared to the regular AirPods. Also, it should be noted that there are no tap/touch controls as with the reg. AirPods, instead you use a stem to pause and play which isn't bad, but to be honest it feels cheaper than the functionality of the gen. 2 AirPods. Overall, if you need the additional features, get these, but honestly as someone who has both the Pro's and regular AirPods (2nd gen.), I think for the price and value these, the regular AirPods defiantly sound better. these headphones are honestly for those who need noise-cancelling headphones that have Apple's W1 chip. Sill good sounding, but there are better alternatives within the Apple ecosystem.
