I have purchased many wireless headphones and all of them had a delay when answering my phone calls. But not the Apple AirPods Pro, they connect my calls right away just like if I was answering my phone. I love that I can switch from noise cancellation to transparency with just one click. You can also charge them wirelessly which is a plus. Overall I would definitely recommend them.

I like the sound of these. The fit is good, but I’m not crazy about the quality of the AirPod Pros. When you get to a $250 price range, expectations get higher. It’s annoying when you put these in your ears and only one side turns on. I have to reconnect these to my iPhone again to have them work right. My wireless BOSE ear phones perhaps were slightly less good in terms of sound and features. But the price was 1/2 of these. Hence 3 star rating seems adequate.

It's hard for me to write a bad review about an Apple product. I love my iPad Pro, iPhone and Apple watch. I was excited to give these a try after hearing that they would offer comparable noise cancelling and audio quality compared to my Sony headphones (when it comes to headphones, I've used Sony exclusively for years because of the excellent noise cancelling). However, after receiving these in the mail, I have to say that I have never been this irritated by a pair of earphones in a LONG TIME. THE BAD: Fit: These airpods lose their seal so fast it's embarrasing. Apple could have at least TRIED to make these headphones more compatible with people's ears but they've failed so miserably it's painful. These things will not stay in my ears for longer than 2-5 minutes without me needing to push them back into my ears. I can't exercise with them without the airpods falling out of my ears. I can't sit down in a chair without the airpods falling out of my ears. You can feel them sliding out of your ears with every smile you make (literally, this dislodges the airpod pro's from your ears). If I tilt my head down towards the floor for a few moments, out goes the airpod pro's. It's literally TORTURE to wear. I've compared these to both of my sony headphones (MDR-1000XM3's and the SP-600N's). The SP-600N's biggest downfall is the heavy control unit on the left ear that tugs occasionally, but it does NOT fall out of your ear because of the ear hook. All apple has to do is provide a freaking ear hook or some kind of non-slip casing, but they're just too lazy to do so. They'd rather your earphones go flying around the planet for the purpose of prettiness over actual utility. Audio quality: If you give a Sony headphone a listen and then put these guys on, it's like going back 5-10 years in audio quality. At 50% volume with noise cancelling on, I can't hear anything outside of my sony headphones. I have to literally blast the audio to get a decent sound out of these airpod pro's. The sound at higher volumes becomes scratchy and muddy and almost unlistenable. And that's only while the things are still in my ears. It becomes extremely noticeable when the noise cancelling seal has been broken. EQ: A simple EQ customization app for the airpods would really improve the listening, but there's no access to this. Therefore, the sound experience is just absolutely sub par for a set of earphones at this price range. Sure, people are worried about the Sony WF-1000xm3 not having a water resistant certification. However, they are cheap enough to simply buy an extended warranty from geek squad so you'll get a better listening experience while not needing to worry about it breaking. Bestbuy's replacement policy with the extended warranty is AMAZING. Use it. Battery life: After wearing these units for only 2 hours, I was already down to 25%. A majority of that time I had them on transparency mode just waiting for my phone to ring for another call. I maybe had about 30 minutes of call time during that 2 hour period. The Good: Noise cancelling: when it works, it's top notch. Nothing compared to the sony's but it works great. Microphone quality: excellent. Equally as good as my other WF-1000xm3. H1 chip: the ability to swap the airpods pro output and input between all of your devices without needing to disconnect them via bluetooth is a dream. But it's just a dream until apple invents airpods that actually stay in your ear on their own without needing hooks or some other non-slip device. It's the best part of the entire point of me wanting to purchase these earphones. It's a shame that the terrible fit and lack of support over the fit ruins so much about these earphones. To be honest, if I just ignore call quality, the SP600N from Sony is significantly better in sound quality, battery life and fit. They're admittedly terrible when it comes to bluetooth pairing and swapping devices. It's also got terrible call quality. But I don't really care about call quality when I'm needing earphones for exercise. These airpods pro units are useless during exercise. I've already experienced one drop that almost fell into a sewer grate. It was horrifying. DO NOT buy these airpods until third parties have released accessories to keep them in your ears. And don't fall victim to believing they are the best sounding. They lack basic EQ settings that make other headphones sound incredible. I won't update this review simply because Apple chose looks over actual utility. What a shame.
