Fun, startling, and typically high Apple quality
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These noise-cancelling EarPods are exceptionally fun and delightful to use. Apple supplies multiple-size tips to theoretically get a perfect seal, but none of them seem to do it, according to Apple's built-in diagnostic. Still, I am happy with the fidelity, the reasonably good noise cancelation, and the ease of use. In particular, these buds stay in my ear (without irritation) in distinction with the older AirPods they replaced. Battery life is sufficient if not spectacular, and there is a "find my..." feature which is helpful given the ease of losing or misplacing these things. Unfortunately, "find my..." seems to work only when the case is open, which is to say hardly ever.

One of the best Earbuds (not just for apple)
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you own an iPhone and are looking for a pair of bluetooth earphones (which is kind of a must these days), this is the best product you can buy (yes, even better than Max!). Going to list out some features below, which in my opinion makes this the best earbud out there. I'm also going to compare these to Sony WH-XM3 and AirPods Max here and there. 1. Sound Quality: Fun. It's not neutral but nothing is too emphasized to the point where it feels unnatural. I have an HD650 and a Focal Elex but in the last 6 months, most of my listening has been through AirPods Pro. The reason is simple, it's convenient and the sound quality is good enough that I don't feel like sitting down and reaching for the big boys all the time. Compared to Sony WH-XM3, which I also own, AirPods are better across the spectrum, except lacking in bass volume or weight. However, I still prefer the bass of AirPods Pro because it's tighter and faster. I find the XM3's bass quite sloppy and boomy but with equalization it can be better. Mind you that AirPods Pro is by no means a bass head's headphone. If you want that, AirPods Max is the way to go. I bought the AirPods Max and returned it recently because I didn't like the sound signature much. It's too v-shaped for my liking. I honestly feel that AirPods Pro is a better sounding product than Max (regardless of price), but I can see how some people prefer that. 2. Noise Cancellation & Mic: Noise cancellation is superb, class leading for earbuds. It's quite comparable to the XM3s. When I'm outdoors on the phone and it's windy, people at the other end can't hear the wind. Same with my AC, which is quite loud and people can tell it's on with the Sony, whereas with these in, a lot of times people can't. A lot has been made of the transparency mode on AirPods Pro and Max. I find it a bit too transparent and prefer just taking out one earbud when I need to hear outside things. Of course you can't do it with Max. 3. Size and form factor: I use these in the gym, around the house while doing chores, walking, biking etc. Honestly, this has been one of my most used set of earphones and I've had them less than 6 months. It's easier to put on than IEMs but stays in and fits like one. I find it very comfortable for long use. The AirPods max felt uncomfortable to me and the clamping force is a bit too much I thought. So, again I would say that AirPods Pro is better in that regard. 4. Apple features: I can seamlessly switch between apple devices without taking them out or needing to re-pair. I can add items to grocery list while I'm cooking in the kitchen (using Siri). Connection to apple ecosystem is definitely more convenient than android, especially if you plan to use this with multiple devices. Of course, the product is aimed towards apple users. But if you can find them for a discount, I'd say this is a really good pair of earphones on it's own (regardless of the ecosystem), probably best noise-cancelling one in the market. All in all, this was probably my product of the year in 2020. I'm so happy with it that if it gets lost or stolen, I'm immediately buying another one. I can't remember being this happy with another product in a long time. I just hope that apple doesn't go for more of a v-shaped sound in the next iteration.

Exceeded Expectations!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve both Bose QC35ii and the NC700, but they’re big and a couple of hours into the flight, make your ears hot and sweaty. These Apple AirPod Pros have quickly become my most favorite travel companion with their sound quality being as par, if not better, than the Bose. Their battery life is adequate for most domestic flights, and the noise cancellation can remove engine noise and other nuisances on board. Above all, they’re super light and fit perfectly in my jeans’ front pockets! Medium silicon tips matched my ears perfectly, and I got a quick seal confirmed with the seal test in the Bluetooth settings. They’re simply the best you can find in this price range. Good luck with your research.

Great Wireless Earbuds
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using these as my daily earbuds with my iPhone for over a month, and they are great for the most part. Comparing them with the 1st gen airpods, the sound quality is slightly improved with these being in-ear (better bass and clarity). Noise cancellation is great for lower frequency sounds, but only muffles higher frequency noises and voices. In terms of comfort, they aren’t as good as the older AirPods, as I tend to find discomfort after 3-4 hours of use (I often have to adjust placement in ears). Compared to the Sony wf-1000xm3, sound quality is not as a good, but ease of use in terms of pairing, comfort, consistent connection, and size of case is much better. If you prefer sound quality, go with the Sony wf-1000xm3, but if you find ease of use more important go with the AirPods. Pros: - pairing - sound quality compared to older airpods - battery life (about 4.5 hours) - noise cancellation - transparency mode Cons: -comfort during long use (3-4 hours) -when listening to podcast, white noise is sometimes audible -sound quality compared to Sony wf-1000xm3 - lack of EQ customization like the Sony earbuds - pricey

Grudgingly the Best
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a review of Apple AirPod Pro vs Jabra Active 75t. TL;DR - I wanted to like, neigh, love the Jabra set, but the Apple product met my needs better. Why I wanted true wireless earbuds? My trusty Anker Bluetooth behind the ears earbuds were aging, and I had a few specific gripes on business trips that I wanted to resolve. 1.) The microphone. I need to be able to take calls in some noisy industrial places, and the Anker set wasn't doing it. 2.) The wire between the earbuds was a hassle with glasses and a facemask on the airplanes. (Thanks, COVID!) 3.) I hate the sound of my own footsteps in a sealed ear canal. I would nudge my earbuds halfway out of my ears to prevent that while walking down a terminal or across the city. The results. Jabra could have been the winner, but there were four main issues. * Transparency mode was poor, poor performance * The microphone quality was constantly panned by peers * Switching between more than two devices was fiddly and a pain * The 'plugging' effect that I hate when walking I do like the app, and the sound quality was great. I took them to the hospital for an overnight stay post-surgery. Holy crap! That was the best I ever slept in a hospital. I only woke up when the nurse shook me. It was amazing!!! Plus they are so recessed it isn't obvious you are wearing them and they fit in a motorcycle helmet. The first two items could be chalked up to a bad microphone in this pair, but after trying the Air Pods there was no going back. The standout, grand slam feature for the AirPods Pro is the quick switching. This is what Bluetooth connectivity should be. It is amazing. (Yeah, I know it is a proprietary thing that rides on top of the Bluetooth protocol, but I heartily wish it was part of the Bluetooth standard!!) I have four iOS devices. A phone and tablet each for work and personal use. No matter how I plan out my day, I find myself always needing to switch from one device to another for Teams or a company broadcast or a phone call or a movie/music. The quick switch feature is seamless and just plain works. The music quality is more than acceptable. The microphone quality is great, even in industrial environments. Transparency mode works as exactly as I would expect. I would like an app or mixer to reduce the amplification of background noise in some environments, it made me feel like I was wearing hearing aids in a busy environment. Finally, I found a pair of headphones that don't have the sealed effect that drives me nuts, thanks to the ported design of the Airpods. The Airpods Pro could improve by addressing these issues: * Recessed design for use on motorcycles or just for discreetness * A phone app to tweak some of the settings * Volume adjust on the Airpods themselves (dealbreaker for some?) In the end, the Airpod Pro was a hands-down winner for what I needed. The microphone performance, vented design, transparency mode, and Apple's quick-switch feature could not be matched by my experience with Jabra Active 75t's performance.

Nice to cut the cord
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Didn’t realize how much the corded head set was a bother! These were a Christmas present from my wife, who saw how much time it took me to untangle the corded set. These ear pods have Excellent sound quality. The ease of putting them on when the phone rings is seamless. The transparency mode is amazing. The noise cancellation capability is very helpful in the gym. Battery life has been excellent. I was also impressed with the technology of fitting the ear pods. I use one small and one medium rips. Apple makes this easy to do and guided you on determining the fit. Although taking the tip off is a little scary...I was afraid of ripping it. But it did pop off. Well worth it, and I would recommend the pro version.

I LOVE MY AIRPODS PRO!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was in the market for a pair of true wireless earbuds, and, having both an iPhone and a Macbook, AirPods were my first thought. However, I hate, hate, HATE Apple's standard earbud tips that they use for their EarPods and AirPods. It doesn't fit correctly in my ears making for a sound quality experience that is fairly disappointing, and they fall out easily. So when I heard about AirPods Pro and their silicone tip, I immediately knew that they were my #1 choice. The noice cancellation is so much better than I ever could have imagined from a pair of earbuds, and the noice transparency mode is such a welcome convenience. I love being able to go straight from absolute silence besides my music to hearing all of my surroundings while still keeping the playlist going. Of course, they are a bit pricey, but if you're an Apple user that doesn't like their typical earbud tips like myself, then these are the buds for you. The simplicity of pairing it with Apple devices and the added features you receive are well worth the price, in my opinion.

If you're thinking about it, just do it :P
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these so that salespeople wouldn't annoy me at the mall (because some are so pushy, it overwhelms me) XD I love the noise-canceling feature. It's so nice to tune out the world, without having to blast volume. Also, they have great battery life. I can use them for 8 hours at work, and not have an issue. They also fit comfortably in my ears, unlike previous apple earbuds. Pros: - Compact -Fit in ears comfortably -Nice while working out -Good sound quality -Good battery life -Use normal apple charge (good if you use Apple products) Cons: -A little pricey -Easy to loose (if you're disorganized like me)

Believe the super positive reviews!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are the best earbuds I have tried. The spatial audio, bass, head tracking, sound, active noise cancellation, transparency mode, size, features, compatibility with Apple products, and look are superb! No iPhone or iPad owner should be without these earbuds. Some reviewers are saying a certain Sony and Samsung earbud model is better in terms of sound and bass, but if you own an iPhone or iPad, get the AirPods Pro for the features, compatibility, and spatial audio. The competition lacks these features. Do yourself a favor and get a protective case for the case.

From Powerbeats 3 to AirPods Pro - HAPPY!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My PowerBeats 3 stopped working 2 weeks after purchased warranty expired. I was looking for something comfortable to wear, secure in my ear, and transferable from work to gym to subway. The AirPods Pro do all three and more. I love them! I am always happy with an Apple product but also sometimes dislike everyone having the same thing...its very cult like but now that I own a pair of AirPods, I can’t imagine having anything else. Compared to Powerbeats 3, the AirPod Pros are better primarily because of Transparency and Noise Cancellation modes, in addition to the ease of charging and overall comfort while using.

Best Headphones for iOS
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: Charging case - Headphones get charged on the go and when I am not using them. In-Ear - I have been waiting for the In-Ear AirPods since my ears canals are different sizes. They stay in. Noice Cancellation - My wife hates these, they work too well. Transparency - My wife loves these, they work too well. Ease of use - Simple and easy. They always work and work well. I’m a fan of consistency and dependability. Cons: Not waterproof More Battery Expensive I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Best wireless earbuds I have ever had and I have had many (Jabra Clipper, Jaybird Bluebuds X, X2, Tarah, Beats X, Powerbeats Pro, and Bose Soundsport)

Everything you wanted in the origs but didn't get!
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Of course, being the Apple fan boy I am, I jumped on the AirPods as soon as they were released by Apple. I liked them, but like a lot of users I was only moderately happy. Between the goofy look, the lack of noise cancellation, the fear of them falling out of your ears and the okay sound, they were just a little better than adequate. Fast forward to the Pros and WOW, they were everything I wanted in the AirPods but didn't get! A more secure, sleeker fit, noise cancellation, better battery life, and awesome sound. I try to never leave the house without them and when I do I am immediately sorry. Only downside is they are pricey.

Best wireless earbuds
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love these. I’ve always had trouble with wireless headphones hurting my ears because they are too heavy or too large and the older style AirPods were too uncomfortable for me. I’m really happy I gave these pros a try though. They fit well with the rubber earbud tips, they never fall or loosen from my ears, but most importantly they don’t cause my ears any pain. Also, very simple to use while wearing and I love that they sync up automatically with my other apple products. Noise cancellation is top notice too - I can mow the lawn and still hear everything perfectly.

Excellent, highly recommended
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As it seems to go with Apple, they just make solid and really good products. That certainly is the case with these new Airpods Pro. I'm coming off the Airpods 2 and while they were great, I really wanted to check the Pro's out since they had active noise cancelling. I use mine heavily while at work, and drowning out the background noise while listening to my music helps me focus and get things done. I'm also a giant fan of great sounding electronics. I won't say these are the best sounding ear pods on the market, because I own several higher end audiophile grade products. But for 250, you're not going to beat these. Sound - They sound very good. It's pretty amazing they are able to get the sound and punch they got out of something wireless and so small. Fit - I liked the fit of the Airpods 2, I LOVE the fit of the Airpods Pro. The "stem" is a bit shorter, the weight of them in your ear is almost unnoticeable, and the silicone tips that came on them fit perfectly in my ears. They come with two alternate sizes too. When you put them in, there is no need to shove them in your ear - just like previous ones, they sit nicely in your ear. But with these, they don't come loose and you can absolutely work out with them and they don't budge a bit. Ease of use - like with anything Apple, they just work. Take them out of the box, open the case with your iPhone next to them, they connect, and you're good to go from there on out. For the functions, you now use a slightly pinch on the stem versus a tap on the old ones. They work nicely and flawlessly. You can also control the noise cancelling options from your phones screen. Overall - I'd give these a 9/10 overall. They are just an awesome product with very good sound and superb quality and ease of use.

Worth the upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these after owning the original air pods for 2 years. These are quite the upgrade. The battery lasts so much longer than the originals and the noise cancelling works very well. They come with different size ear pieces so you don’t have to worry about fit. They are comfortable and super easy to pair to an iPhone. The connection is seamless. I think these may be the best product in terms of design that apple has ever released. Definitely worth the extra money over the normal ones.

versatility meets sound quality
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Definitely an upgrade from the last two generation AirPods. The transparency mode comes in handy when walking outside, as it allows you to be aware of your surroundings. I’ve used them at the gym and noise cancelling does a great job of reducing noise by over 75% in my opinion. Are they perfect? No, I don’t believe anything is perfect but they’re pretty darn near it. I will give it 5 stars for the features and Apple reliability. I have some Sony noise canceling earbuds and the connection is not as stable as these. They also don’t charge as fast. Sound wise, it’s comparable to those Sony’s but the battery lasts longer on the AirPods. The price is pretty steep but I think you’ll find it worth it once you try them for yourself.

Perfect
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing. Fit my ears perfectly and stay securely there, even during exercise. Spatial 3D audio feature when watching on iOS 14 on an iPad is absolutely incredible. ANC is perfect for drowning out background noise at a coffee shop while studying. Transparency mode is easy to toggle on when you need to hear things and not interrupt your music or podcast. Yes they are expensive, but if you have an iPhone, their tight iOS integration, sound quality, noise cancellation, and good battery life make them worth every penny. Anytime I leave the house, they are always in my ears.
