Wireless Changing is handy

Although I don’t think it charges as fast when using the wireless feature. I like it very much. If your non-charging case still works, I would not recommend upgrading.

And they last a long time before needing recharging. Expensive, of course. What else do you expept from Apple?

They're extremely convenient if you are a frequent traveler, and provide a level of comfort, knowing that you will have a charge for your headphones wherever you are! Just charge on your home charger included in the original purchase, and listen away, knowing you have a spare charge at your side. It's not an absolute necessity to have, but if you can spare the extra money, you might as well purchase for the convenience.
