For music it's quality. Obviously not the very best out there but very very good. For phone conversations also very very good. Reliable and cuts out a great deal of background noise. Very mobile. Easy to sync with iPhone and easily doubles as a workout bluetooth headset. Can even serve as a tool to practice singing duets with somebody. They take the other pod as you both listen to the same song and sing together and harmonize. Beautiful stuff!!! Thanks Apple!!
