Loved them so much for the few weeks that they both worked. Then the left one stopped connecting. Followed all the troubleshooting and still nothing. Called Apple and they couldn’t get it to work either. They were nice enough to send a replacement AirPod but just got it and I told them the left AirPod wouldn’t connect but they sent me a right one. Hoping it works but probably gonna have to send it back. Daughter is turning 12 Monday and is disappointed but hopeful this gets resolved.

I didn't noticed any difference between the two yet. The new Airpods look identical to the old ones. If you already have one, I would not replace it. However, if this is your 1st or replacing a lost or broken one, these AirPods are not bad.
