I was skeptical about the Apple hype around these earbuds, but my daughter REALLY wanted them as a birthday gift, so we granted her wish. Out of curiosity, I tried them and was really surprised by the sound quality! In my opinion, they sound better and are more convenient than the ubiquitous earbuds that come with Apple products, so I bought my other daughter a pair for Christmas and myself a pair for my birthday. Unlike some reviews I have seen, these stay in my ears without a problem, though I definitely take them off when I enter a bathroom or stand by a sink. I have considered third party add-ons to keep them on more securely, but that would mean the AirPods wouldn't charge without removing the add-ons. The Pro version probably are more stable-feeling but I wasn't willing to gamble the added cost. All in all, I am happy with my purchase.

These AirPods are great! The sound quality is excellent and they are comfortable to wear. The case is small and easy to carry.

I wear these on my daily walks and while doing chores around the house. They sound great, fit surprisingly well and feel secure in my ears. Noise cancellation would be great but then it’s probably good to be able to hear a little outside noise for safety reasons.

Air pods are always an amazing gift for family members. Especially when it comes to first gen air pods, what a better way to introduce a family memeber to wireless earbuds than with these. They are worth it and the sound also is well enough given the price!
