I actually wouldn't know much about this item as FedEx lost the package and Best Buy refuses to make it right. Every time I speak to customer service, I'm told I have to wait different amounts of time before I can get a replacement. First it was 24 hours. Then it was 7 days. Then it was 5 days. During the 3rd call to straighten this out, customer service supervisor "Kim" hung up on me. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Now I believe I am out the item as well as the money.

Their not that bad, sometimes they kinda stutter but it’s nothing too crazy. Overall I’ve been enjoying them.

It seems as though Apple is getting over on people. These are advertised everywhere as “2nd Generation” Airpods but absolutely everything from the packaging, to the information “Model Name” that populates says in my phone says “Airpods”. I purchased the first generation airpods when they first came out and these are identical to those. I then purchased the 2nd generation and it came with a wireless charging case.

Worked good, sweat and dirt does eventually bother this version.

The first pair of air pods I ordered stopped working after 3/4 days, wouldn’t connect to my Bluetooth and kept glowing green I tried to reset and repair for 2 days straight & then on the 3rd day it paired on its own. I traded my air pods in and this new pair has been working fine so far.

Love mine! I had this on Black Friday to be ready when my actual ones fail. I know they have a life (between 1-2 years) so when they die I’ll have the replacement, just can’t be without them.

They are how I expected they even survived being in water with the shower running for 5 seconds and they still work how they did before

I really love them. They sound wonderful and I love that I have a GPS so you can find it if you lose them with your iPhone.

I got tired of my headphone wires getting caught on everything and the buds getting ripped outta my ears when I dropped my phone. Now I can walk around and not have to worry about jerking my phone onto the floor because I forgot it was still on the counter and not in my pocket. I found out recently they are connected to Find My Phone. I don’t know if you can track each individual pod or if the app only tracks the case, but I feel comforted knowing that’s an option because these things ain’t cheap. One downside if the app only tracks the case is that if you set your pod down anywhere but back inside the case they are very easy to misplace. I only set them down in the car and still about 50% of the time I forget they’re in the cup holder or hidden in the seat crease and need to look for them. I dropped one under my seat once and if I hadn’t seen where it fell I would probably still be looking for it. The sound quality is what I’d expect from other Apple headphones. I like that you can change what the taps on the pod do and specify the “directions” to one pod or the other. I’m a huge fan of the Apple headphone shape, they fit in my ears perfectly, so no complaints, but I did buy a kit of extra attachments in case I want to exercise with my pods in. But just walking around they’ve never popped out. They charge super fast. I can’t guess at how fast because I always alternate pods (one in, one charging) so they can last my entire workday. The pod holder itself holds a charge really well and is usually still juiced by the time I get home after a 8 hour work day and a two hour commute. I usually just charge everything together overnight so it’s all ready to go the next day, so I’m not sure how fast the pod holder itself charges. I like that my phone tells me the battery-level of the case and each pod when they’re connected. The mics seem to be pretty good, no one has complained they can’t hear me when I’m on the phone, unlike my old Apple headphone wire mic which occasionally swung away from my mouth. Personally, I got a silicon protective case for the pods holder from Amazon just in case I dropped it, but I haven’t dropped any of it yet so it hasn’t been an issue.

Don’t buy the 2nd generation AirPod. It doesn’t have a charging light on the outside. So if your magnetic charger doesn’t have an indicator light then you will not know if the AirPod is charging.

They keep dying every 20 mins & won't connect to my phone most of the time.

The Best Buy sold me defective AirPods - after buying them I kept them in the charger overnight and charge lasted for no more then 10 minutes. I brought them back to the store they refused to except them back. No more shopping for me at Best Buy’s

Double it a used one, same as my order of washer, Best Buy shipped it three time but all "3" had broken parts, malfunction, and dent. This air pod cannot full charged. Void to get store credit as everything ordered by that store credit was used defective products. I have more than 40 calls and CSR opened more than 6 cases primary case numbers. Brand NEW was replaced by USED DEFECTIVE PRODUCT HAS NEVER SOLVED. WHAT HAPPENED? PINOLE STORE. YOU BROKEN MY CELL BUT CANNOT USED YOUR STORE CREDIT!!!!!

These AirPods are fantastic! Crystal-clear sound quality, seamless connectivity with my Apple devices, and the charging case lasts forever. I physically own the Airpods and have had them since release. They are superb piece of technology. I have been using bluetooth headphones for last 3–4 years now for both my iphone and macbooks at home and work. Its always been a pain to disconnect the blueooth and reconnect on another device. This is one area Apple has so successfully managed to crack with the W1 Chip in the Airpods. The amount of technology you receive in the Airpods is phenomenal! Just check a youtube video of a breakdown of the Airpods you will be Shocked as to how much apple has literally squashed into the Airpod. The bluetooth range on these are so much better then general bluetooth headphones that i have tried! I also own Bragi’s Dash headphones, and they pale in comparison. The sound quality is top notch, it has been highly improved on since the EarPods that apple give free with all iPhones. Sound is much clearer, better base, and now im hearing instruments that i couldn't hear before with my other bluetooth headsets. Ease of use and pairing, i will say once again is the true winner here. I listen to my iPhone on the way to work with both Airpods in. When i reach my macbook at work, i simply remove one Airpod from my ear so that i can listen around me, and connect the other one in my ear to my macbook. Its so convenient. Before i had to have the other side dangling down my back or front, and the wire was always getting in the way. The battery life is phenomenal, 5 hours on a single charge, 24 hours in the case and you can do a quick charge in a few minutes to listen again for over an hour. The Airpods are a solid fit! They will not fall out while walking, running, jumping etc…. The only way for them to fall out is if someone brushed something against them to knock them out of your ear. The only few negatives i can think of and requirements for future improvements is having noise cancellation (although it does a good job already for blocking out noise, its still not noise cancelling at the moment). And proper gesture controls on the airpod for changing volume and changing tracks. Ideally also loosing the antenna tail would definitely help with improving the design also. Although in person they look great and not as bad as when i first saw them release at WWDC on tv.

Stop working in less than a month, it will charge up and both the ear piece and the charging case die in 5 mins, this is so disappointing because I lost my previous air pods and bought this one as a replacement only to break in less than a month, very unfair.
