Sound is excellent. Noise cancelling works like a charm.

Everything build wise seems the same as 1st generation. Noticeable enhancement to the sound quality though. Price didn't seem worth it to get the wireless charging case option.

I ordered the airpods to use primarily with my Ipad. They move easily between Ipad and Iphone. I'm amazed at the sound quality from such small speakers. I'm a bit disappointed in the comfort..or discomfort. I may order one of the aftermarket earbud covers to see if a gel will make longer wear more comfortable

These are also great and powerful for the size. Great noise cancellation as well however because of the size they can easily get lost if not responsible. My son loves them.

Great sound and fit for the price. Does not fall out of my ears and stays in place during exercise. Sometimes has issues connecting to iPhone and has to be put back in its case and taken out again. Same issue for several years with different versions. Does not happen with the AirPod pros.

My wife likes her buds, they are comfortable, and easy to operate. Happy wife, happy life.

Everyone is posting that there isn’t a difference between these and the 1st gen. This is misleading and inaccurate. Is the improvement drastic, no, but it is still an improvement. The improvement is that Apple has upgraded the on-board chip to the H1, which leads to faster and more stable pairing. This isn’t anecdotal. It’s been tested and proven to be faster. Also, if you opt for wireless charging, buy the case with the gen 2 AirPods and you’ll save a few dollars. If you already have the 1st gen, then it’s probably not worth the upgrade. If you are looking to buy your first pair of AirPods, then go for these. The improvements with the 2nd

I bought AirPods and I love them. I bought them through the Best Buy app on my phone and it was quick and easy it was convenient and they came in real quick.

I recently purchased the newer version of Apple Airbuds, and hated them. They did not stay on my ears, and didn’t hold a charge any better than these air buds which are half the price. I kept the newer ones but went back to these older models. Love them’
