They will connect to close range Apple devices though.

They connect very well to your device, they are very easy to connect to other Apple devices and the sound quality is amazing! Highly recommend especially for the price! The only flaw is because they are the first generation in my opinion they are a bit slower when it comes to connecting to apply devices.

A simple double-tap during music listening will skip forward. To adjust the volume, change the song, make a call, or even get directions, just say "Hey Siri" to activate your favorite personal assistant. Plus, when you're on a call or talking to Siri, an additional accelerometer works with dual beamforming microphones to filter out background noise and ensure that your voice is transmitted with clarity and consistency. I highly recommend this if you looking to buy.

They provide great sound, durable and DO NOT come out of ear. Second pair actually, gave first pair to a relative.
