To me, they sound just as loud at the provided headphones Apple gives you bit heavier on the bass. I haven’t really tested out the battery life so no comment on there. For convenience and how the sound is, the price isn’t bad at all.

Really good wireless earbuds

The following things don’t impact my experience overall, just small issues. A few connection oddities. They sometimes don’t sync properly so I’ll hear double, a weird distortion occasionally happens, and occasionally they ding indicating they’re connected but sound still starts playing from my phone.

AirPods 1st gen are the best gift!

I had tried a couple of other wireless ear buds but they are nothing like the Apple AirPods. Yes the price is more expensive upfront, but if you are looking for something small & long range phone call distancing, the AirPods are for you.

Very good audio

Expensive, but awesome

We had tried a number of different brands over the years, but I finally gave in and bought him these Apple Airpods for his birthday. He said they are very comfortable, and loves the auto connect when he puts them in. So far, he is very happy with them!

The sound quality is fantastic, and they were incredibly easy to pair with both my iPhone and MacBook.

I bought these as my phone call earbuds as I am working from home. As an iPhone user, the convenience and pairing is amazing! Sound quality is okay, but there are other brands that have better sound at the same price point. These are great for making phone calls, and for going for a quick workout. If you plan on using your truly wireless for longer periods of times, I would recommend investing in a different brand, or spring for AirPods Pro.
