Nice improvements over gen 1

The two sound identical, no update there unfortunately. However, increase talk and listening time + Hey Siri makes them more enjoyable to use -- no more having to tap the earbuds to pause or skip or make a phone call. The wireless charging case is convenience at a cost. 100% not necessary, but now I'm hooked even though I only charge the case once or twice a week. I have charging pads around the house so this makes it easier than having to set up a separate lighting cable or hook up to my computer. Glad I splurged a bit more.

I especially like not having wires connected to the air pods. The air pods are very comfortable to wear holding a charge for days in. Being able to fit the pods into my pocket when done is very convenient. Great retirement investments.

Apple Airpods with charging case are a Must Buy!

I was hesitant about the purchase because of the price, as I was purchasing for a teenager. These are worth every penny. You can even set it up with your Apple device/account to be found if lost, because of the serial number, and when it is plugged in to change you can find it. Amazing product. Great investment.

Well worth the money

The wireless charging is nice but not necessarily a must have. I love that fact that when you are using them while on a call the person on the other end of the phone can't tell your using them and the sound is awesome! I would recommend these without hesitation. Definitely have been worth the price.

These AirPods are so cool!

They are so intuitive and seem to set themselves up. Truly like "plug & play". The sound is great and how they connect to my iPhone and display all of the pertinent information about their charge, etc. is very cool. The wireless charging is next level. I just sit them on my Qi charging pad and they begin charging instantly. Again, a very cool product. Apple does it again!
