Better noise cancellation and better fitting. My favorite earphones due to the convenience and ease of use.

Apple has lived up to its claim of doubling the effectiveness. Low rumbles on a plane or train are virtually eliminated, and even office chatter is noticeably muted. The Transparency Mode remains the industry gold standard. It sounds natural, making you feel as if you aren't wearing earbuds at all, which is perfect for conversations or situational awareness.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought them as a gift because my wife had just got the iPhone 17 Pro Max, but the airpods tend to disconnect from the phone and you have to restart them to get them to connect again. If you don’t like using in-ear earphones, don’t buy these as they’ll feel uncomfortable. The noise cancellation isn’t as good as Samsung’s, and sometimes you have to adjust the noise cancellation settings depending on the environment you’re in.

My audiologist is using the hearing test results from Apple because she feels they are more accurate than hers - and so do I!
