These perform better as far as noise canceling and staying in your ear without soreness and ear fatigue than the JBL and beats that I’ve tried.

I haven't tried them on a plane yet but I bet they would be great for blocking out all the airplane noise as well as other passengers. Highly recommend these over regular Apple AirPods.
