I purchased this to go along with the purchase of my new 27" iMac. Being an Apple product, I was not the least bit surprised with the ease of setting it up. I disabled my wireless from my main Verizon FiOS router, ran the Cat5e cable to the Airport Time Capsule, and set up the wireless to run through the Airport Time Capsule. You can also easily set up a guest network that enables guests to access the internet, but not your files on your network. Once my iMac arrived, I set that up to back up to the Airport Time Capsule using OS X built in Time Machine app. I would definitely highly recommend this item. This item is easy to use whether you are a technology guru or technologically challenged.

This was so easy to install and get our system up and running again. Our computers are faster and everything gets backed up automatically! Another great great Apple product.

Upgraded from older 1T time capsule. The 3T has a lot more storage and offers faster WiFi. I'm now able to use the older time capsule as WiFi extender. Happy with me purchase.

Great wifi router with 2 TB backup storage. Covers the whole house with fast AC wifi. Can also plug in add'l external hard drives for more storage. Glad I selected this.

it has decent range, not as good as a nighthawk but still okay for a medium-sized home. the internal hard drive is good for backing up macs via time machine, and can be used on PCs as well. 4 stars because it's a convenient package but not really the best at doing anything it does...

the time capsule makes linking multiple mobile devices to a single data storage point extremely simple

Easiest router I have ever set up. The hard drive is an added bonus that is easy to store individual data or backing up my Mac with Time Machine. It looks great too!

On the pricy side, but works as claimed. Time Capsule part is great if you have a Mac. New AC wi-fi is super fast if you have another device that supports it.

My husband has had a career in IT. He is the engineering type. Me... I've done high tech marketing, sales and consulting since the advent of the PC. We both are fairly adept when it comes to making computer components work... but that doesn't mean we want to spend hours screwing around with devices at home. That is the genius about Apple products, particularly the Time Capsule. You pretty much plug it in, turn it on, do a few things and it works. It can't be much easier unless when you open the box out pops someone to do it for you. ;) It's that easy!

Set up was easy. Wireless range is great works from my attic to my basement. I like the fact you can also use it as a wireless hard drive back up which can back up all your MacBook and apple desk top computers .

Works like a charm thus far. No problems. Seemed a bit expensive, even by Apple standards.

If you want simple managing tools, extreme space, and an unmatched broadcasting range at the latest band look no further. Very simple set up and ease of use

Wi-Fi works greatI cannot use the time capsule part of this because I don't have a computer yet but the Wi-Fi works greatyou can set up the Wi-Fi and you can use the Wi-Fi with the phone or tablet but you need a computer to use the time capsule

Great product. It has been running for three weeks and no issues. My old time capsule was dropping off ever week or so. I am not used get my old time capsule as a ranges extender. Apple support was great it only took a few minutes to set.

i bought this for the hard drive, however the wireless AC is smoking fast. my old laptop went from 20MB down to 45MB down just by going to this product. The backup is super nice too.

After reading reviews and talking with a friend about the Apple Airport Time Capsule, I purchased one at my local Best Buy, and easily set up the device within thirty minutes after returning home. Easy, peasy! Now, no data worries!

Great, easy to set up auto-backup for Apple. Saved my bacon when a recent OS upgrade crapped out. I was able to restore from the backup. It's a little pricey, but is worth it terms of data safety and peace of mind.

This unit was the best wireless router that we've owned. All others were complicated and didn't function (especially Belkin brands). Other backup devises kept failing, but this unit worked perfectly from day 1.

Seems to work great, once I figured out how to use it lol
