Bought this to replace an older Linksys B/G wi-fi router. Using it with my two MacBooks that support -AC wifi. Noticed the speed difference and the stronger signal strength in previously weaker areas of the house. The Time Capsule backup with the MacBooks is seamless and fast. You can also use it as a networkable hard drive to store any files and folders.

This Airport Time Capsule replaced both my previous Airport Hub and external backup drive. Setup was extremely easy--just follow the simple directions and the Time Capsule will transfer all of the connection and password from the old Airport in seconds. Setup for Time Machine backup was equally simple, and it can do automatic backup of multiple Macs.

If you've ever used an Apple WiFi product, then there are very surprises here. The big changes, other than the awkward form factor, are performance enhancements. This product's signal strength is robust in my 4 story wood frame home. The 3TB was a bet against needing an upgrade in the near future.

My wife does a lot of graphic design and I record music, so we really needed to have a reliable option for backing up a lot of data on a regular basis. The Airport Extreme works great. It was very intuitive to set up and integrates great with our computers (Imac's). I can't speak to how these work on PC's, but for us, they work great.

Great product that serves two fuctions. Storage backup and wifi all in one. Simple setup. First backup take forever so do it at night.

For Apple products this is the best single solution to work both as a high speed wifi router and as a time machine wireless backup device. As usual with Apple all the products work seamlessly together with almost no setup required. Also works for windows devices but with Apple devices is where this really stands out.

As with most Apple products the installation was a breeze. As I was replacing an older Airport device and I used the same passwords I basically just plugged it in, set the SSID and password and it worked with all my connected devices. Noticeably improved speeds across most of my newer devices. Great product.

The Time Capsule was easy to set up and use. Seamless setup with Apple devices and good wireless range. Updated wireless transmitters and antennas over the old time capsule and holds more backup data (3TB).

I got rid of my rental modem/router and am now using this device as my router/storage device. I am using NETGEAR - DOCSIS 3.0 High-Speed Cable Modem in concert with the Apple AirPort and am very pleased. Faster internet with a much greater range. Get rid of Comcast's rental modem/router ASAP.

Set up was quick and easy. I use my Mac computer, following the onscreen instruction, was done in about 5 minutes. Improved performance of my computer and other devices on the wireless network. The Time Capsule works seamlessly, backing up the Mac computer every hour, using Time Machine.

No issues, easy setup!! Best Buy even provided me with documentation specific to my internet service provider to ensure that I would have everything that I needed to get my Time Capsule setup properly :) Worth every penny!

I am intimidated by high tech because I so infrequently need to use it on my own. I was very pleased to find that using this product out of the box was VERY easy. Getting it on-line and connected to all of my home equipment was a snap. I feel like the price is right for the quality, amount of storage and it has proven to be dependable. I work with a lot of large media files, this has allowed me to store all that I need for work and personal use. No glitches in these first two months of use! Good looking unit, attractive on the desk!

A Western Digital was suggested. Bought it and was greatly disappointed. Came in after doing some research talked to your team and went with Airport Express and am extremely satisfied. You get what you pay for and Best Buy Team knows what's best.

I got this as a backup hard drive mostly. It has 3 terabytes, which they told me was all I ever would need. Haven't filled it up yet, maybe 10%. But it does have extra USB ports that you can plug extra drives into, making it expandable (unlike most every other Mac product). For Mac products though, you pay for the quality of the product and the workmanship and the high end parts. It also works as a wireless router. The install and setup was a breeze. Basically plug in, recognize, put in some time to install and follow the instructions. I have had some issues with connection where my computer will, at times, not find or recognize it. I have a Mac so it seems there shouldn't be any problems like this. However, for the money it's probably going to be reliable. When my hard drive crashed last year on my PC I discovered the importance of multiple forms of backup.
