  • Huge market over Tile for access, BT is slow.

    I use these as the network is wider then Tile but the time refresh isn’t as quick as I would like. I use it for a cross country runner and as iPhone has 50%ish of parents along the route it should update quicker. Sharing isn’t available yet so that’s a star loss. My spouse and I should both have access to location info for our child wearing the tag. Apple did include a flag for illegal tracking as an alert and I encourage other android OS user to scan and download any app that alerts you to a BT device that follows you.

    I was disappointed these are limited to Bluetooth range. My fault for expecting otherwise. If these had Bluetooth or cellular range they could be powerful!

    AirTags work very well in the Apple ecosystem. The alerts system works well. The only issue I can see with them is that you cannot attach them to anything (like keys) without buying an accessory.
