How Apple AirTag helps me...

The first AirTag powered down late summer but had been consistent during it's approximate 3 year chain providing the answer to the occasional "Where is Bailey?" question. I had my dog microchipped and I think that helps with the long distance recovery, but the AirTag certainly can help find Bailey within the surrouning neighborhood. The AirTag can also help keep track of keys, luggage, and other inanimate objects as well...

Not that exciting.

Its thicker than I thought it would be, so can't slide it into my wallet. besides putting it on my keys, I don't have a purpose for it. And it doesn't have a hook, you have to buy an accessory for that (which are all on backorder).

It otherwise works reliably and has held up to being on a child’s backpack so far, and I can at least get a decent approximation as to where the bus is when it’s coming from school.

Wish it worked better!

But after syncing to no my iPhone and all set up, i placed it in my car and my son took it to run errands. He has an android but it never It tracked at all. I’m sure he was by someone who had an iPhone out there. I’m confused and now past the tune to take it back. I’ll keep playing with it.
