At first out of the box it worked as advertised upon syncing, but then the next week it no longer continued to work as well. I had hoped to use this on my dog`s collar to ensure she stayed in the yard when outside, but after that first day every time I opened the app it just stated “Connected. Signal is weak. Try moving to a different location.” to which moving did not assist in the issue. I attempted this over the course of two weeks with it working maybe 5% of the time to which I then had my wife sync the AirTag to her account and she received the same result each time over the course of a week as I did. After a month of trying and numerous troubleshooting I opted to just return the product and hope that the next version will work better.
