I bought it for my luggage and was hoping to be able to see the location at all times but that was not the case.

Doesn’t pick up very far. Always says move to another location or needs more light when you’re in a lighted room.

It does not update near as much as we would like it to... Takes hours sometimes..

A HUGE downside to these is that if you were planning to use this to find your laptop, luggage, car, or child that are stolen...the device sends an alert to whoever's I-phone that has your stolen item letting them know that it has an Air Tag on it so they can be sure to discard it and you never find it. I guess this was intended to prevent using it for stalking but also makes it completely useless for anything except finding something you lost.

Won’t notify when moves/has moved when away from me. The only notification option is for when left behind and that doesn’t help when always leaving behind. Needs an accepted location parameter and to be able to notify when moved outside of the accepted perimeter.

It will not work at all paired then shut down worst

Apple AirTag is pretty much useless. I bought two, one for my wallet and one for my keys. If they are in the room right next door, it works perfectly. However, I put it right outside my front door and it was unable to find it. It also could not locate the device upstairs. The range it picks up on is negligible. I can’t see any useful purpose for apple AirTags as the whole point is to find it if you lose it. Complete waste of money and I would not recommend.

Read the reviews here. They look cookie cutter and bought… LOL... Don’t waste your money, they are okay for locating things directly in your area. (Same room) Besides that, the Bluetooth barely connects and you find yourself holding your iPhone to the sky praying for a signal to connect to the Airtag. The Bluetooth capabilities need to be highly upgraded for these to be worth the money. The ARE NOT with this current version. Just buy the cheap tile, works all the same. I can’t even connect to my car in an open mall parking lot… and I have the darn Tag right on the dashboard. Still doesn’t connect until I get right up by my car… Yikes

My Mom bought this for me for Christmas. I was so proud of her for getting me something techy. I wanted to put this on my cat to see where he goes. The problem is this airtag needs connection to a wifi signal or bluetooth, to connect. The airtag could only be found if my cat was in the house. We live out a ways and there are not a lot of betwork signals near us. Therefore, this wouldnt work for our needs.

Bought an open box. Stopped working after 2 months, found out it was year old out of warranty. No help from best buy off course. Apple said you were screwed by best buy. They gave me a discount and I bought new from them for $20. Thanks apple and never buying from best buy crap company.

It may not be the AirTag, but it seems either Frontier or Comcast internet is terrible in my area and no one wants to fix the internet in this area

Paired with my phone, but would not be recognized by "Find my phone". Re-set battery and tried again. This time would even pair with my phone at all. But that's okay. As long as it says "Apple" it's automatically great

Delivery time is terrible. It was held up in Memphis TN for about a week and took 3 days to reach Armarillo TX, at this rate i should be receiving by February 2022. I know i should of just purchased them from AMAZON.

If someone steals your belonging you won’t be able to track the thief because he/she will get notification and therefore be able to disable the AirTag. It’s a waste if you need it for theft protection.

This AirTag doesn’t work how I was expecting it to I use it in my car basically to track car but if my phone is not near car it says can’t detect location

The fact you can't share them with other members of your family to track common items renders them nearly useless for me, I can't recommend.

They are not accurate at all I wish I could have return them. Waste of money

Impossible to connect to iPhone. I tried troubleshooting all types of ways and nothing worked.
