    Air tags have a limited range and the sound is not loud enough to hear unless you’re within a few feet of item you’re looking for.

    Did not track well at the airport. It said my luggage was still at the check in area instead of on the plane with me. Had me worried until a few minutes after landing at my connection airport when it updated to the airport I was at at that time. If the luggage hadn't made it I think I would have been able to track it but I'm not sure.
