Just useless. We bought airtags for our cats after one of them went missing. She is missing again, as I write this, but her airtag is offline--even though we live in a dense urban setting--and she does not appear to be in the last location it tracked her, which happens to be in the back yard of someone who works for Apple.

Lost my keys. This helps a lot now! Definitely recommends

I have a problem to see the device. Instead I share it to the other person and she can find and track airtag.!!!

It does the job of finding my items when they are within close proximity, but not very accurate when my items are left behind.

Outdated bt tech, useless range, and even when im 5 ft from if, for absolutely no reason, my 14 pro phone cant find it…do not use this for anything you care about keeping track of…maybe for kids toys or something…just spent 20 minutes looking for a wallet that was withing 30 ft of me, under a magazine, and it did not find it. Didnt even play sound or show up on the visualizer when the phone was 6” away despite being less than 3 months old. Unreliable at best. Tile is cheaper, massively more reliable, 5x the range, and works with any device…why are people still brainwashed by apple? Leaving android and tile was a terrible decision.

I bought it for my luggage and was hoping to be able to see the location at all times but that was not the case.

It does not update near as much as we would like it to... Takes hours sometimes..

Doesn’t pick up very far. Always says move to another location or needs more light when you’re in a lighted room.

A HUGE downside to these is that if you were planning to use this to find your laptop, luggage, car, or child that are stolen...the device sends an alert to whoever's I-phone that has your stolen item letting them know that it has an Air Tag on it so they can be sure to discard it and you never find it. I guess this was intended to prevent using it for stalking but also makes it completely useless for anything except finding something you lost.

Excellent method to keep track of your luggage! Watch when it is about to come around the luggage pick up. Less confusion in a crowded airport.

Won’t notify when moves/has moved when away from me. The only notification option is for when left behind and that doesn’t help when always leaving behind. Needs an accepted location parameter and to be able to notify when moved outside of the accepted perimeter.

Apple AirTag is pretty much useless. I bought two, one for my wallet and one for my keys. If they are in the room right next door, it works perfectly. However, I put it right outside my front door and it was unable to find it. It also could not locate the device upstairs. The range it picks up on is negligible. I can’t see any useful purpose for apple AirTags as the whole point is to find it if you lose it. Complete waste of money and I would not recommend.

I got the AirTag because I thought it would be the most compatible with my iPhone. Wrong, it doesn't track in real time, it only refreshes about every hour. Maybe 40 mins if your lucky. This product sucks, I got a 10 dollar tracker from 5 below and it works better than this garbage. Save your money and go to 5 below. The 5 below tracker updates instantly every second. AirTag is useless.

i put an airtag on my cat. i go out to find him at night sometimes and its the most inaccurate thing ive ever experienced… it says hes following me around the whole time i walk around the house when obviously hes not bc i wouldnt be looking for him. horrible item. dont buy if your looking for an accurate tracking device

My Mom bought this for me for Christmas. I was so proud of her for getting me something techy. I wanted to put this on my cat to see where he goes. The problem is this airtag needs connection to a wifi signal or bluetooth, to connect. The airtag could only be found if my cat was in the house. We live out a ways and there are not a lot of betwork signals near us. Therefore, this wouldnt work for our needs.

I bought this to use as a cat locater. They only work to around 50 - 60 ft, basically in view range. The only good part is that I can walk around and locate them within a circle.
