We’ve used them before on a trip by placing it in one of our checked bags. It worked well. You couldn’t track it in the air but you knew it was at the airport. Good price for the 4 pack.

Have not use the Tile Tags or Samsung Smartags yet so cant compare them. The sound to locate your keys is loud enough when not being blocked by your air tag case. Now I just have to wait and see how long the battery will last.

Besides, putting them in luggage,, I have one on my dogs collar. I know this is not a tracking Device, but it is an excellent locator. It depends, though, on Wi-Fi or cellular service.

Cheapest I've seen AirTag and relatively easy

My wife and I went to Disney and I decided to get these and strap them to our kids shoes. While they didn’t run away while at Disney, there was an instance when my youngest was with my mother-in-law and we were able to use the AirTag to find them in the park. Definitely worth the money if you want to be able to track anything down.
