I put one each on my keys, another in my new leather wallet which also has a round slot for an AirTag. I put 2 more AirTags in my truck; 1 alarm normal and I removed the speaker on the 2nd one of the AirTags to silence it in case of theft, so I could track my vehicle and the sound would not alert any potential thief, even if they found the one with the speaker. Apple should have an on/off switch for this or a silent mode option.

We'll tag luggage, our dog when we travel. Follow the directions on our iphone carefully to make sure you rename and connect the air-pod item. Price was comparable to amazon.
