A men's wallet for example, it creates a ugly and uncomfortable bulge. Things like bikes and scooters are difficult place them in/on without creativity and/or purchasing some type of custom holder. Their fine for bags, purses, luggage or a vehicle, but you really have to get creative with other items. If they were water proof they'd have many more use cases.
