Apple AirTag is pretty much useless. I bought two, one for my wallet and one for my keys. If they are in the room right next door, it works perfectly. However, I put it right outside my front door and it was unable to find it. It also could not locate the device upstairs. The range it picks up on is negligible. I can’t see any useful purpose for apple AirTags as the whole point is to find it if you lose it. Complete waste of money and I would not recommend.

I got the AirTag because I thought it would be the most compatible with my iPhone. Wrong, it doesn't track in real time, it only refreshes about every hour. Maybe 40 mins if your lucky. This product sucks, I got a 10 dollar tracker from 5 below and it works better than this garbage. Save your money and go to 5 below. The 5 below tracker updates instantly every second. AirTag is useless.

I bought this to use as a cat locater. They only work to around 50 - 60 ft, basically in view range. The only good part is that I can walk around and locate them within a circle.

Using these to pack our luggage. Considering extra uses for them.

My Mom bought this for me for Christmas. I was so proud of her for getting me something techy. I wanted to put this on my cat to see where he goes. The problem is this airtag needs connection to a wifi signal or bluetooth, to connect. The airtag could only be found if my cat was in the house. We live out a ways and there are not a lot of betwork signals near us. Therefore, this wouldnt work for our needs.

i put an airtag on my cat. i go out to find him at night sometimes and its the most inaccurate thing ive ever experienced… it says hes following me around the whole time i walk around the house when obviously hes not bc i wouldnt be looking for him. horrible item. dont buy if your looking for an accurate tracking device

As usual for apple, late to the party and overpriced. Many other companies have been making this product for years and at a much better price point. Save your money and this and buy a competitor.

Read the reviews here. They look cookie cutter and bought… LOL... Don’t waste your money, they are okay for locating things directly in your area. (Same room) Besides that, the Bluetooth barely connects and you find yourself holding your iPhone to the sky praying for a signal to connect to the Airtag. The Bluetooth capabilities need to be highly upgraded for these to be worth the money. The ARE NOT with this current version. Just buy the cheap tile, works all the same. I can’t even connect to my car in an open mall parking lot… and I have the darn Tag right on the dashboard. Still doesn’t connect until I get right up by my car… Yikes

Bought an open box. Stopped working after 2 months, found out it was year old out of warranty. No help from best buy off course. Apple said you were screwed by best buy. They gave me a discount and I bought new from them for $20. Thanks apple and never buying from best buy crap company.

we bought a air tag yesterday and sadly we had return to Best Buy cause it was defective but still recommend this

Bought "open box" for about $10 less than full price, but all of the batteries were dead, which would have cost me more than $10 to replace.

I bought these as a gift for my daughter. She had requested them. They arrived on schedule. When I researched them, I discovered many uses for them.

It may not be the AirTag, but it seems either Frontier or Comcast internet is terrible in my area and no one wants to fix the internet in this area

READ THIS IF YOU ARE TRACKING YOUR PET. YOU CANNOT TRACK THIS WITH MORE THAN ONE PERSON AT THE SAME TIME. My wife and I use Tiles to track our pets, we put them on their collars. With Tile, we can both track them. Even our house sitter tracks them with his phone when we are gone. But Apple does not allow this, which makes NO SENSE. I called Apple support and they specifically told me Airtags cannot do this. Totally useless. Returned.

Not only wasting money but you will be very disappointed buying this item, usless. It takes forever to refresh for the right location that is even if you lucky it works to begin with. I don’t believe this product belongs to apple.

Since it has not been delivered yet, I cannot give a review except of service received when I chatted with a rep on-line two days ago. I was told they would be re-shipped and would receive an email indicating they were shipped. Have not gotten any emails.

Bad product. when i replace battery it wont even show up on findmy. have to reset, even then it wont connect says blue tooth error. dont ever buy this garbage product unless you want to spens an hr trying to fix it every time battery needs to be replaced

I bought a 4 pack 1 of them every person with an I phone could ping it and see everywhere we were driving on the map. And other one worked great for about 2 hours than stopped! The other ring randomly apple cannot reboot. Or fix any issues at that! I would not recommend this device too complicated and a pack of 4 they all suck!

Their customer service is completely incompetent never again. I do not recommend shopping here.
