I though say if you do not have phone reception that could be an issue. They put you in the general vicinity of the lost items but not exactly spot on...Location can be hit or miss.

Half star deduction for that and a half star deduction for the fact that Tiles are more durable and do not require separate (and expensive) accessories, though Amazon has cheaper knockoffs.

Only downside is the tag location isn’t sharable with everyone on your family account. Only works with one Apple ID. Also one of them needed a new battery out of the box.
