I bought these specifically to put in my luggage to track it and it barely worked. The set process is easy but you can't add it to another device without having to repull the paper to make it work.

Bought to track my cat

I wanted to use it as a tracking device. It works okay, I like the ping feature, but it has to be within 50 feet or so of an apple device for it to send a signal to your phone. So when she's wandering around my neighborhood, majority of the time I can't see her location.

You don’t have to pay for a monthly service to track your items. I use it in my car. And since Apple has such a huge customer base, pinging the AirTag and keeping track is so easy.

Don’t ever lose anything again

I use these Apple products to place it in my luggage so if it gets lost I can easily find it. We have one on for our pet Maltese as well.

I don’t like that it can only be linked to 1 Apple ID, and therefore multiple people can’t track its location… I expected it to function like a ‘find my.’ I also wish it came with a holder.
