Good product, but need some improvements. The alert tone is just way too low. And it should have AR but it doesn’t. Also, no built in gold for a key ring. I still think it’s a good product and worth buying if you are already invested in the apple eco-system. Maybe Gen 2 will have the above mention upgrades.

I wanted to have stocking stuffers for the kids at the holidays, and since they are traveling this seemed like an ideal device for their luggage. I hope it works (for whatever they may use them) & I only have one caveat: the need for a case for them! But we found some & they can decide if they want to upgrade.

I recommend 100% It's very essential for my daughters I say it in security.

They work exactly as promised, particularly with the newer chip and “getting warmer” feature in the iPhones 11 and 12. Half star deduction for that and a half star deduction for the fact that Tiles are more durable and do not require separate (and expensive) accessories, though Amazon has cheaper knockoffs.

These apple air tag units are pretty slick and work every time out of the box. Only thing I am not sure if is how long the onboard battery will last

Works as advertised, only downside I found was for pinpoint accuracy you need a newer Iphone, otherwise it will just display a general area of where its at
