Apple airtags work as advertised, if not better. I keep one on my dog’s collar, in my car, and in my kids’ bookbags. While not giving realtime location data as a sim-care enabled tracker, they’re almost as good (and without a monthly fee).

Easy to connect and does the job that it is built for

I use the apple ecosystem of products, so the AirTag is a wonderful addon. The device is about the same size as bottlecap, setup is a breeze. Literally, pull the sticker off and it's already synced to your phone. One thing I wish was that the AirTag has a reverse tagging (similar to what Tile has) when you squeeze the device it will notify your phone. Currently, it only responds one way---your phone alerts the tag. Maybe in later versions, they will address this.

Great use for tracking your personal items. Bought more for my kids.

I was a late bloomer with respect to these pieces of tech. They are in fact pretty cool. I am a believer now and they definitely have a place in my arsenal of tech. These are easy to use and are pretty cool.

Tags come in handy for car keys ect. easy to setup and use.

When two family members have ADD and another is a teenager with a messy room, these air tags save so much time and sanity. We have them on all our key rings and in wallets. We even stuck one on the air pod charging case that's always disappearing. We've replaced the battery on one air tag that we got for Christmas 2024. Love that the prices are going down - at least when on sale!

Work as advertised. They have come in handy a few times for my sons keys.

I got 6 of these to put on my cat’s collars and I LOVE THEM! Anytime my cats are lost or out of my eye sight when outside, I just look at their location in the “Find My” app on any Apple device and will also use the ping option to play a sound to help find them! Light weight as well so not heavy at all! Easy to set up! I truly recommend this for you whether it’s for your animals, kids, car keys etc. 10/10 would 100% recommend! Completely worth the price!

The 4 pack is the way to go because you save $4.25 on each airtag. These are very easy to set up, are accurate and loud enough if you insert them into a case the right way. However they are too thick to fit inside a wallet which is a shame. I wish Apple had made them larger but thinner, or had done two versions. You can find disassembled and reassembled into 3D printed wallet sleeve versions on Etsy and this is the second version apple should have done.

These are the best trackers I've used. Pricing is better in the 4-pack and Best Buy's sale brought them down to a very affordable price. Replaceable batteries mean it's not trash after the battery dies (I had another brand with no option to replace the battery). The shape of these makes them less-than-ideal for a wallet, but location accuracy and convenience outweighs the odd form factor. I regularly use them for checked luggage, leaving in my car when parking in sketchy places, and in my backpack.
