The downside is that these don’t come with any holder. It’s just a disc with no way to attach it on its own - no loop or other means. Apple forces you to buy their really expensive accessories or you can go to Amazon and find cheaper third-party options. It would have been nice if Apple had simply molded a ring into the plastic so we could attaché it to a keychain. Greed seems to have prevented that.

While I'm generally careful with everything of mine, I still like the peace of mind of having all my important things trackable. I just wish the batteries were rechargeable.

Im using a wifi ipad and the process is as easy as 1,2,3. 1- open box. 2- pull tab to activate the tags. 3- press the pairing button on the find my app.

Now he can track it. He had to track it 4 or 5 times already and not having to replace his wallet and card or having to lose his cash is a blessing! It paid for itself within a couple weeks!

The price went up per tag recently which I would think Apple would lower the cost since they have more users to spread the costs but assuming they didn't have the foresight to be cost effective with their scalability at the time of the product inception. It works well. Wish they wouldn't exclude the use of OSX for these.

I like that AirTag uses the WHOLE of the Apple community not just those who happen to own an AirTag. also like the size (smaller) and the round versus square shape. Connect to phone was so automatic!
