However, it doesn't always chirp when directed to find and item and it has chirped without being prompted also. Seems like a few firmware updates are probably needed but overall it's performed its duty. They are also reasonably priced.

They are not perfect GPS tracking devices but they do give you a little assurance of where you can find your car/luggage.
