This is a great tool to have. I have a dog that I bought this air tag for. You can buy attachments for dog collars that you can put the air tag in and its barely noticeable. I am at ease knowing that if my dog ever decides to run away, I will know where she is within seconds. Even though I know she would never run away because she is well trained, this is still a good tool to have for peace of mine.

The AirTag does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Setup took minutes, and it integrates seamlessly with the iPhone. Location tracking is accurate, and the precision finding feature is especially useful when something is nearby but not obvious. Battery life has been solid, and replacing it is easy. It’s a small device, but it delivers real peace of mind for keeping track of keys, bags, or other important items.

The Apple air tag is somewhat useful, but I find that, at times, the information it provides seems to lag real time. That said, I am using it in an unconventional way to track our cats, who have a tendency to roam a distance. In certain cases, it does give a general idea of where the cat has been hours ago, but, in general, it cannot pinpoint exact current locations except to list the last address where the air tag picked up the cat's location. This could be a result of the cat roaming through fields, etc., where there is no iphone in the vicinity or at a location where the residents have phones other than iphones. It is, at least, helpful in giving a general idea of where the cat was or might be. Apple does not suggest that their air tags should be used to track pets, and it is not a GPS tracker; so, other than lagging real time a bit, it seems that it would be a good means of finding an inanimate object or something that is relatively close to an iphone, especially if the object is stationary. It is light weight and small, which makes it easy to use, and the battery life is supposed to be very good, unlike most of the GPS trackers. It also does not require a subscription service; so there are no out of pocket costs after the original purchase price. Overall, the Apple air tag seems to be a reasonably good and inexpensive means of locating missing items or providing some information relative to roaming pets if you understand the limitations on its ability to locate roaming animals.

The air tag is so accurate. Great for traveling and keeping track of where your luggage is. It's peace of mind.

The only thing missing was the tab for activation .but it still works fine. They might not last as long though.

Purchase these before heading over to Europe, not thinking that I would really need them, bags were lost for six days and the airlines could not tell me where they were however, having these AirTags, I can tell every place they were and where they should have been. In this case, my bags went on more destinations than I did.

Most useful item to purchase. I went on an international travel recently and used the tags on all my luggage. Found out using the tags that my luggage did not get loaded only my connecting flight even though airline staff said otherwise. I then filed a complaint and was able to provide the location of my baggage to airline staff who got my baggage in next flight and delivered. I would always use them while traveling.

Works great! I would recommend this item because of ease of use, tracking ability and small size.

These came in fast and well packed. They work well with my iPhone SE, super easy to pair and do the job. While testing them at home, it was so accurate that it would find them in different rooms within the house, but when testing it out of the house, it would show the last known location and sometimes that was ‘10 minutes ago’. We were hoping to have it on our dog but when testing it while out on a walk, if he were to get out, it may not be as helpful as we thought it would be. We did another test when the kids went out for a run with their coaches (cellphones are not allowed while running so only the coaches have phones on them) and the same thing happened, it would track them on and off and my phone would show me their ‘last known location’ not in real time. If you’re tracking a person, definitely the “find my iPhone” feature is better. Bottom line, they work well and Best Buy was easy to buy from, I would recommend them if you understand that they’re not tracking in real-time when out of range from your phone.
