Works only 10-15 feet away, but if someone with an iphone is bear it, the apple network will crowd source the location and give u a ping if u are more than 15 feet away

I gave it 4 stars instead of five because I heard the battery may only last 6 months instead of the advertised 1 year. I’m sure the batteries are cheap so not a deal breaker
