I often have a difficult time waking up the device having to press the wake button several times or having to restart the device. I bought this brand new in 2020 and gave my 2014 Kindle Paper White to my wife and I noticed that the Kindle Paper White UI performance is about the same speed. Despite the slow response of touch and slow UI, I’d still recommend this device as it is very light, durable and easy to use (just very slow!).
