Its a fantastic way to keep track of your things if you have an Apple device or devices. Its small enough to fit in discreet areas of a bag or other high value item without adding weight or needing to use some glue sticker to attach it. I have two main gripes with this: 1) Connection refresh is SLOW. The frequency at which AirTags ping location is....well....infrequent. Obviously it matters how many Apple devices are nearby, but you will see from several Youtube testing videos that a location ping can take anywhere from 3 minutes all the way to 15!!! 15 minutes is a long time for a thief to take your device somewhere, look for and find an airtag, ditch it, and take the valuable. Battery life is estimated at 12 months. I would happily sacrifice 3 months of battery life if it meant AirTags pinged location immediately at the press of a button in the FindMy app or at least a steady every 5 minutes. 2) Form factor requires that you buy accessories to be able to attach to anything that doesnt already have a pocket. Tile has a handy keyring hole on most of its products. This allows you to attach it quickly and easily to something that doesnt have a secure pocket, like your keys. Because this is just a round disc, you HAVE to buy extra accessories to be able to attach it to something. Apple just cant help their corporate greed. The last gripe I have is the inability to share location of an Airtag with a family member. But I understand that is being changed in iOS17. Thank goodness, because that was also a huge problem. If you put an AirTag in a family luggage, having only one person be able to use the FindMy was completely impractical. What if that person has to go get the rental car across the street while the other person gets the bags? Well too bad. Thats just one example I thought of but the point stays. This was a real limiting issue of the usability of these AirTags but now that its being addressed in iOS17, Im really looking forward to being able to share locations with family members or trusted friends when necessary. Overall, despite my gripes, this works fantastically well when you need it to find that thing in your house or if you left a bag at school or something. So long as you didnt lose something out in an empty field (with no apple devices for it to ping off of), this is a must have for Apple users security and peace of mind. If Apple releases a gen 2 with better location refresh/ping coupled with the iOS17 update, I will definitely be buying more of those.

We have Apple AirTags for several items that we own. These trackers are very easy to set up and the battery life is quite long. We even added AirTags to our luggage so that we can check to see if our checked bags have made it onto our plane and whether they are to headed to Baggage Claim once we arrive at our destination. These can be used to keep track of many different kinds of items.

These Work well to help keep track of your items. Paired easily with my iPhone!

I keep this on my keychain to help me find my car keys if misplaced or to give me peace of mind when I have to entrust my keys to valets or others. It is very inconspicuous, and I forget it's in my pocket. I hope I'll never need to use it, but I'm glad it's there just in case. It was easy to pair with my phone, and I am hoping to buy additional ones for my luggage and backpack.

Very easy to use, extremely convenient. We pop this thing in our son’s backpack during games so we can always find his bag/shoes in case something nefarious happens at the school. We leave it at home otherwise. However, it’s super easy to use.

Bought 4 for $64.99 and gave to family. It is a good way to track and get the location of items.

Gave me piece of mind knowing my luggages were on the same plane I was. Have had luggage lost at the airport before and that was a nightmare! Also placing one on my dog since I let him out of the house unleashed and he sometimes like to wander around.

Concept is great, never had to actually use it yet for something I’ve lost or gotten stolen. After getting “tagged” one night when my vehicle was parked outside a restaurant I decided I was going to start hiding them in my vehicles ect. Just in case, the feature seems to work great when you walk away from it and it detects it is not at your home, pin seems dead on so for the price these are great for piece of mind.

These little life savers are sooo easy to pair and work flawlessly . I keep one tucked away in MY own car, and another hooked to my key chain. I’m thinking of sticking one in my brief case because at the end of an exhaustive day, it’s so easy to locate MY OWN items for ME. As the President of “WHERE DID I LEAVE MY STUFF CLUB,” I’m extending this invitation to join us.

Great if you are in the Apple ecosystem. Not useable if you’re not. The issue I have is the design. They are a bit thick. Not ideal to put into a thin wallet. I’ve had the battery cover pop out when using in my wallet and in the back pocket. Also you’re forced to buy accessories as they have no hole or ability to latch it onto a keyring without. For those that like to keep pristine Apple gear you’ll have to get a skin or case as the stainless steel scratches easily. It’s just the nature of the material. They have user replaceable batteries which is great, considering Apple rarely if ever has this option on their devices. It’s pretty loud for such a small device and I’m easily able to locate my keys or wallet. What it is not is a real time tracking device. It won’t send constant updates even if near an idevice but will give you a good idea of location even if outside Bluetooth range. Tile has many different form factors for different applications and works well on any device. That is Tiles advantage. The price point is good, however the caveat is you are required to buy accessories.

Use it for remotes, keys, cars, wallet (a little bit thick but worth it). Very accurate and reliable. Before Airtag, I tried the cheaper brand Tile but that sucked.

Works just the way it's supposed to! Lost my wallet, and it led me right to it!

Very useful for travel purposes and for tracking your vehicle in a parking lot

Once again, Apple designs an excellent product. I use this in my checked luggage. Since Apple knows when the tag is not with me and the tag is not at home, I get an alert as I desire. I can locate the tag easily on a map. I found I can effectively trace my luggage through the airport baggage handling labyrinth. The tone the tag can generate on command though is soft. I would not expect 90dB though. One can effectively locate a lost item in a fairly quiet space, but hearing the tag inside luggage in a noisy airport will require super-human hearing.

Great way to keep track of important items. I was on a flight and my gate was changed from 24 to gate 12. About 5 minutes before they buttoned up the plane I could see my luggage was still sitting at gate 24. I notified the flight attendant and she radioed the ground crew who retrieved my luggage and loaded them onto the aircraft I was in. If it wasn’t for AirTags my luggage would have remained in Charlotte while I was in Miami Florida getting ready that same day to board a Carnival Cruise ship. Could have been a disaster, but was averted.

Bought these little baddies just for an extra gift to give wife cuz yeah she has an iphone, iwatch, macpro, etc, except the airtag. She didnt care for them until our son got an ebike and i said hey maybe we should put an airtag on it just in case it gets stolen? She agreed but busy life i delayed install, until a week later i did it! Life went back to normal till 3 week later i got a call from wife saying our boy got his ebike stolen at a circle K gas station and i said well hey i put an airtag on it! She then knew the mission and also called police cuz these ebikes are over $1,000 and is considered a felony charge. Long story shorter cops got involved and wanted to know everytime it pinged to show location and 15 min later after the movement stopped we got the exact address and police went knocking on door....and yes crazier details happened but i said long story short and yes we got the bike back!!!!

The best value technology purchase that I have made in years. Period. I will NEVER travel without my AirTags again located in our luggage. On a recent trip overseas, and with the disarray that the airlines have been in since Covid, our flights from the beginning of our trip until the end were cancelled, or delayed. On one leg, I knew our luggage was not going to be on the flight with us (after speaking twice to airline agents about our luggage location and being assured they would be on our flight) because I could see they were over half a mile away from our aircraft we were boarding. Upon arrival at the next destination, I was able to see they were still back at the departure airport. I showed the local agent where my luggage was on my IPhone and was assured they would arrive on a later flight. I was able to see my luggage moving from the luggage storage building to the flghtline, and tracked them upon landing at the destination airport. Before even getting a call I drove to the airport, went to the counter and told the airline agent that my bags had arrived and that they were in the back. They asked if I had been called and I told them that I had not been called but had AirTags in our bags and pointed in the direction that they were located in the back. Sure enough, they located my bags and I left with them in hand. I LOVE THIS TECHNOLOGY. Thank you Apple and Best Buy. Forget the credit card jingle, now it's 'AirTag - don't leave home without them'. They are good to have but require other Apple devices near the items you’re trying to track to actual acquire telemetry on. I used for my girlfriends dog, and while we were out of town, it only tracked him if he went to the back fence of the yard he was staying at and someone with an Apple device was at the store near that fence. The other down side to this is it only works with Apple. To my knowledge there is not any Android support for these devices.
