I was looking into these as a good alternative to the traditional tile tracker, especially when having to track our 13 lb Chihuahua/Pug/Maltese mix when he lock steps with us and bolts. We see him on the Ring app to know where he went if we're bringing in groceries, running late to work, a didn't "really push hard" on the screen door to make sure it locked. I've told my mom from the Bronx Zoo that he got out standing in Minnesota! Our family has tried every tracker from Fi to Whistle and every cell phone carrier touting "they have the best escaped dog tracker." All have fallen short of delivering what they say... Then my husband sends me a tiktok of using this as a dog tracker. There are even dog collar airtag holders! FABULOUS! We love our apple products, find me phone app rocks, Apple Care supurb, Yada Yada Yada... I purchased via the best buy app and picked it up today.... Installed perfectly! "Play sound" is REALLY low compared to the Tile Tracker (we use dozens). I then go to my find my iPhone app, it's not listed under devices, but under "items." "Hurm, ok..." "Hey teen [that I'm raising], can you see my 'item' on your list of devices since I can literally erase your phone while you're holding it since you're under our apple family?" "No." "Can you see if you can add it?" "Nope." Dr. Google to the rescue!! *Share Airtag with family* First response: "Can AirTags Be Shared At All? Sharing car keys with family members is fairly common, but Apple doesn't allow family sharing of an AirTag." So keep your money, use a Tile if you need it to be shared with other people. Pay the Tile premium, share unlimited, free batteries for a year, plan replaces every lost item if you can't find it up to $1000 as long as you "Set Up Replacement Plan." You're part of hundreds to millions depending on location of GPS "Mark Your Item Lost." I understand this is the first generation, I have it 1 star because it was super easy to set up/replaceable battery (they learned from Tile), and 1 star because there is no service fee.

For a forgetful person like me, these are life savers. I wish they were eaiser to hear when you try to find them but other then that, perfect product, I want to give it a 5 stars but the volulmn is my only issue with them.

These worked out well, and have a long life. I would recommend them for tracking your items.

Buying this is like paying for insurance, you hope you'll never need them. Highly recommend you have an iPhone 11 or above so you can use all the features these things offer.

I put it on my dog collar so it really comes in handy.

Now i always know when i leave my keys behind !

did not come in original package, has some scratches, but working. Also one of them didn t have battery

Apple products are good products and this AirTag is one of them

Purchased these for our trip to CO along woth. Waterproof watch style holders and they were amazing!!

Purchased for my puppy, golden retriever, she was four months when we brought her home. It was a little heavy but the 'ease of mind' was worth it.

I bought these because I always lose my keys. But I also purchased a rubber watch band to use with my son for when we go on trips. It offers a little extra protection.

I bought this to put a tracker in my car, and on my babies items. It takes very long to update. If you are tracking objects that move sometimes itll show tou the last updated location was over 3 hours ago. If someone is travelling with your child or a pet ran away they can be long gone before tou get in contact with them. I guess its fine for items like your car. I have one on my key chain as well it’s not that helpful if you’re looking for your keys in the morning. But if you genuinely lost your keys, I can see it being able to be located

Easy set up process. Now keep up with any easy To lose items.

It’s a good product but it’s not useful for my purpose. I putted in my luggage and finally the airline company has a luggage tracing option in their app.

Works as design. I have no problem. I put one in my wallet, keys, and dog collar. No that it matters, hopefully they’ll come up with a smaller version

Theyre great but the one time I actually lost my keys it was unable to tell me where the last location was at. Other than that they are great if youre someone likd me who misplaces keys all the time.

Now that I purchased the airtag i dont loose the wallet. Hahaha is a great item to have on important things.
