Good OEM earPods from Apple

For the cost and versatility you might expect the earPods to be a bit more durable particularly considering they are a product made to be used everyday, for an extended amount of time and even under some extreme conditions. I have just found them to be an Apple product manufactured as a throw-a-way. Todays eco friendly times and under the Apple name and reputation, I am a little disappointed.
