    These headphones work as expected. I bought them for my daughter’s new MacBook Air which did not have a lightning port. I do wish Apple would make some of their products more consistent so that you could use your iPhone headphones with your computer without an adapter, but these work in the meantime.

    It cannot be handled roughly because then it will start to give you issues. However if kept secure and with you at all times, you have a better shot of the wire not working or it starting to rip. Apple makes products work best for their products and it does work; just needs to be of stronger material. This is my second headphones - just to be clear. Of course I'd recommend this if you have an iPhone but just be really careful with it.

    I don't know if other people have encountered this, but unless you buy an Apple charger or ear buds, there seems to be a point where non-Apple accessories stop working. Ear buds with a microphone seem to be harder to find than you'd think. Thanks to Best Buy for carrying these. No they're not wireless Beats, but hey sometimes the basic items are most valuable.

    Basic Apple ear buds that work as expected. Other brands with adapter do not work as well as the original.
