They do sound good and they don't look used, but I've had to take them back a couple of times for repairs. I've not had brand new ones, so maybe they have the same issue. So far, Apple has helped out, but I'm thinking they may have to replace them with a new pair if the issue can't be resolved. The price was better, but it would probably be less trouble buying new ones.
